Ladies and gents urged to sign up for the Geberit Challenge today

With the regional heats of the Geberit Challenge now just a few months away, the manufacturer is urging any installers considering putting themselves forward for this ultimate test of skill and speed to sign up now, as spaces are filling up fast.

Last year's inaugural challenge saw just one female contestant, so the manufacturer is eager for more ladies to come forward and show the male contingent that they are indeed the fairer sex.

This year's heats take place on 9th November in Manchester, 16th November in Glasgow and 23rd November in London and Geberit is looking for the cream of the crop from plumbers and installers throughout the UK to take part.

With an all expenses paid trip to Dubai awaiting the winning team, competitors will need to have nerves of steel as their theoretical expertise, skill and speed in creating a clean and compliant installation system is put to the test in front of a live audience.

In teams of two, contestants will be really put through their paces, competing in various disciplines designed to test not only their speed and skill but also their knowledge of sanitary technology and Geberit systems.

Meanwhile, colleagues, friends and rivals are invited to cheer on the contestants, with audience members not only having the opportunity to check out the competition with one eye on next year's prize, but also getting to enjoy a real party atmosphere, complete with free food and drink and a lively compere.
