Aqua 6 brings true elegance to the mid-range market

The Aqua 6 is the final shower enclosure collection in the new Aqua range to be launched by Aqualux. Featuring 6mm glass, Aqua 6 consolidates the company's strong mid-range position with a higher mid-range option that offers cleverly-designed, luxury features and a superb finish.

Everything about the design and finish of the new Aqua 6 collection has been developed to broaden the appeal of the Aqua range. These shower enclosures exude quality and excellence while offering a superb user experience.

The very first Aqualux 1900mm high semi-frameless surround, Aqua 6 creates a voluptuous showering space with curvaceous details. The majority of glass panels are reversible for right-hand and left-hand installation while doors are detachable for easy cleaning and removal.

The attractive hinge mechanism on a selection of models is as appealing as it is cleverly functional and the matching design of the warm-to touch soft-grip handles is surprisingly tactile. Their signature styling is such that, when positioned each side of the easy-clean Aquagleam treated glass, a beautiful Aqualux 'teardrop' is formed - the perfect marriage of aesthetics and practicality! A design co-ordinated towel rail is an idyllic match.

Magnetic seals on doors provide gentle yet reliable closure, while top edge double wheel bearings on sliding doors, along with cushioned stops, ensure smooth, reliable door opening.

The quality look and feel extends right inside the enclosure so that, for instance, where there is a door runner mechanism, this is concealed by a graduated pattern at the very top and bottom of the glass. The profiles have the most generous 25mm adjustment to allow for perfect union with out-of-true walls. Exquisitely finished, fixings are neatly hidden beneath chrome plated zinc alloy caps and a wall channel vertical trim cover cleverly conceals stainless steel wall fixings.

Installers will love the secure glass clamping clips and push seals for fixed panels, with easy-fit slot together and dovetail slide together assembly. The head and cill rails come fully assembled, with moulding and screws ready-fitted, and incorporate satisfyingly simple Quick Fit Dovetail Technology at the end of each rail. This design features a dovetail shaped join and two screws, which slot down perfectly into the corresponding fixings on the vertical profile. The screws are then tightened once the rails are in position, allowing the enclosure to be fitted together swiftly and securely.

There is a choice of configuration for every bathroom and the Quadrant Double Door and Offset Quadrant Double Door models are a truly stylish option where easy access is preferred.

The Aqua range has been extensively developed to meet the needs of all Aqualux customers, whether consumer, installer or stockist. Sandra Hyde, Marketing Manager, explains:
