Showerwall - see it on You Tube

Showerwall, the waterproof laminate wallpanelling system for bathrooms, has notched up almost 40,000 viewings since it made its debut on You Tube six months ago in April.

Part of the communication strategy to promote brand awareness, the company posted its installation films on the site. The DVD is also available free of charge to bathroom retailers and installers. There are two short films to view: the first is titled Installing Showerwall and offers a step by step guide and a simple narrative, while the second is a Case Study on Showerwall which demonstrates the speed and easy fitting advantages of the product over tiling.

Says Claire Lambert, Brand Manager for Showerwall: "We wanted to try the social media channels of communication to broaden our reach and we are delighted with these viewing results. It has definitely driven traffic to our website which will be to the benefit of the retailers who are involved with the brand."

Showerwall offers 33 laminates with 10 new design additions introduced earlier this year when the range was relaunched. The new colours respond to the ongoing popularity with consumers for natural materials in stone, marble and metallics which balance up-to-the-minute styling with commercial versatility. Showerwall panels come in a choice of sizes and offer a 100% waterproof panelling system.

The range is available ex-stock nationwide from distributors including IDS, Ideal Bathrooms, Q4 Bathrooms and Formula 1. A comprehensive merchandising package is available for retailers.
