Team 7 increases international reach with expansion to China

* Team7.jpgOn Sunday, Team 7 is opening its first flagship store in China as part of the company's ongoing efforts to take the Team 7 brand international.

The Austrian furniture manufacturer's 300sq.m showroom in Beijing showcases the company's classic designs and bestsellers from the kitchen, dining, living and sleeping ranges, including high-class kitchens such as vao and k7, the award-winning flaye table and the flexible cubus and cubus pure modular systems.

Team 7 managing director Dr Georg Emprechtinger, shop proprietor Liu Dong and the Austrian Ambassador in Beijing Dr Irene Giner-Reichl will be at the grand opening to welcome the press along with guests from industry and the world of politics.

As a market leader in the field of designer furniture made from natural wood, Team 7 has chosen Chaoyang as the location for its showroom - a popular area with the second highest population in the city. Chaoyang is a diplomatic district, which is home to a large number of embassies and boasts lots of exclusive shops and restaurants. By showcasing its inspirational living environments in this central location, Team 7 is looking to bring a touch of healthy living to the vibrant metropolis. It is demonstrating, once again, that it is possible to create a well-designed and sophisticated living space, featuring first-class designer furniture made from natural wood, which is in complete harmony with nature.

Personal consultation is key for the shop employees who have been trained by Team 7 to ensure that customers feel welcome and well looked after. The aim is to inspire customers by giving them the chance to experience the sensuous and unique nature of natural wood furniture for themselves - and the team of qualified interior designers with outstanding planning skills provide everything that is needed to do just have.

"We want to continue to push on and increase our international reach," says Dr Georg Emprechtinger. "Tapping into new markets and inspiring lots of people around the world with our natural wood furniture is not just a financial goal for us; it also reflects our ideals."

Liu Dong is also convinced by the business model, saying: "Our customers in China are getting more and more excited by our trademark combination of local craftsmanship, ecology, design and innovative technology. The pursuit of healthy living ideals and a high level of quality are powerful new status symbols, which makes the Chinese market very attractive to Team 7."
