Blooming great response to Franke's Marie Curie 'Blooming Great Tea Parties'!

As part of its 'More in Store' campaign to improve consumer understanding of the benefits of buying from a specialist kitchen retailer, Franke supported a series of charity events at retailer showrooms recently, as part of Marie Curie's national 'Blooming Great Tea Party' campaign.

Franke provided retailers with free cupcakes and marketing POS to help them host in-store tea parties.

A total of 40 independent Franke retailers and distributors throughout Britain and Northern Ireland put on a tremendous show hosting charity tea parties, the centrepiece of which were delicious Rhubarb and Custard Biscuit cupcakes, created exclusively for Franke by Great British Bake Off winner Frances Quinn.

Typical of how retailers helped put the fun into fundraising were the efforts of Cheam Kitchens, which offered its charity tea party guests the option to 'enjoy a cupcake and a selfie' with the Cheam Gorilla.

To date the events have raised over £2,000 to help Marie Curie Cancer Care nurses provide more free care and support to people with terminal illnesses - with donations still coming in.
