Franke makes new Tree of Life for Ashgate Hospicecare

This stunning work of art has been created by Franke (known as Franke Sissons locally) to help Ashgate Hospicecare raise much-needed funds.

Franke is the local manufacturing company that produces high quality washroom and catering equipment in both stainless steel and other granite-type materials.

Ashgate Hospicecare, which recently launched its Tree of Life Campaign, has positioned the remarkable interactive piece in the reception in Old Brampton. In return for either a one off donation or a regular monthly contribution, a leaf, an apple or a dove can be inscribed with a chosen name and hung on the tree.

All donations will be used to support the valuable work of Ashgate Hospicecare.

Dale Hardy, product management and marketing co-ordinator for Franke, explains: "Ashgate Hospicecare are always looking for creative ways to raise much needed funding. This is a highly visual tool for them to promote donations and contributions from the local community. The Tree of Life has been designed and manufactured right here in Chesterfield, with input from our engineers, designers and apprentices.

"We are very proud of our association with Ashgate Hospicecare and this latest project looks absolutely stunning."

Sue Mason from Ashgate Hospice care says: "With all of the 300 spaces on the tree filled, this would mean the Hospice could fund two Ashgate Hospicecare Specialist Nurses each year. The Tree of Life looks absolutely wonderful - we are so thrilled with it. Franke have been so helpful throughout the whole process and working so closely with them has been brilliant - we really can't thank them enough.
