Two
new multi-bin system options from Häfele
take the waste segregation and management demands of regional authorities
to a higher plane in Britain's kitchens.
One2Four
and One2Five multi-bin waste systems - bin numbers and layouts are optional
- are listed in the latest edition of the Complete Häfele for the
first time.
The former is a low height, drawer-box style installation for under-sink
spaces and the latter is on a hanging frame for mounting to the reverse
side of the cabinet fascia with runner slides fixed to cabinet side wall
panels; fixings are available for 15/16mm and 18/19mm carcassing weights.
One2Five comprises a range of container options pre-fitted into a rigid
frame.
Cabinet width options include 400mm, 500mm and 600mm to carry a range
of containers from 8 to 32 litres in multiples to a maximum capacity of
80 litres. New flexible handles on each container make them easy to remove
for emptying and also to secure the edges of waste containerisation bags.
Rather than being made to 'go into' a given cupboard space, One2Five is
tailor made for a given cabinet for optimum utilisation. The specified
waste container combination and the dedicated frame system into which
they are installed are all tailor-made for the cupboard space.
Containers are drawn clear of the worktop for ease of access and can be
individually lidded. Or a cover lid kit is available and can be incorporated
within the frame to remain inside the cupboard space when the bins are
drawn clear.
The One2Four under-sink drawer box alternative is designed for 500mm or
600mm widths with a minimum depth requirement of 473mm and a reduced height
of 270mm to clear sink plumbing. With waste capacity running at 33 and
40.5 litres respectively and all containers individually lidded - both
lids and bins are in aluminium coloured plastic - One2Four represents
a simple and economical solution for maximising a space which is not otherwise
easy to use effectively.

Ultra-Fresh* Blinds Help Keep the Home Healthy

its advanced Ultra-Fresh* treated fabrics which offer proven and effective
protection against bacterial and fungal growth.
This
makes them suitable for use in bathrooms and kitchens where damp air is

Brushed Stainless Steel Effect Launched For Trojan
The
Trojan range of top hung sliding door systems from D
R Services has been enhanced by a cost efficient new option
- brushed stainless steel effect. In direct response to customer demand,
D R Services has developed the brushed stainless steel for its T120 Trojan
system for glass, wooden or metal sliding doors. Offering very low noise
in operation, the range combines low friction with easy slide, with a
retaining clip available for end stop. As the fittings for the T120 are
manufactured from stainless steel, the top track has been developed to
match, with specially formulated anodised aluminium simulating the appearance
of brushed stainless steel.
'Aluminium is at least one tenth of the cost of stainless steel,' comments

stainless steel effect top track, we have extended the design options

to upgrade the switching mechanism of any standard fan with an electrical
load between 20 watts and 200 watts.
The Timer model incorporates an electric time delay switch which allows
the fan to run on for a specified interval (adjustable 1-20 mins) after
the room has been vacated. Humidistat units have been specifically designed
to operate the fan when the relative humidity reaches a pre-set level
(adjustable 20-90% RH) and also incorporates an on/off switch. A remote
humidistat control and timer model is also available. The range also incorporates
an energy efficient, passive infra-red (PIR) model which is sensitive
to movement and will switch the fan on when someone enters the room and
off when the room is vacated, removing the risk of human error.
Manrose also offer a wide range of variable, 2 speed controllers with
reversible options. The variable non-reversing fan speed control is suitable
for controlling the speed of fans with an electrical load of 20watts -
200 watts. In addition to this, a two speed non reversing controller and
a reversible speed controller are also available.

Leather Look Handles from Häfele
Hafele's
new Traditional range of handles comprises many different retro styles
and a whole new spectrum of finish effects.
This
collection is 'Leather Look' and comprises knobs with matching backplates,
traditional cup handles and finger pulls, 'D' handles, bows and bars in
a range of lengths and diameters. The Traditional handles section of the
new Complete Häfele comprises more than 100 styles to complement
everything from country kitchens to ... anything with a traditional look.
Leather look handles are in solid pewter and many of the same designs
also come with a hammered finish effect. Central to the collection are
round leather effect knobs that come with their own square matching backplates
- diameter is 40mm and the backplates measure 32mm.
Matching bar handles come in a range of lengths and diameters from the
long, slender 204mm x 10mm version at 160mm centres, to a heavier weight
model at 180mm overall x 20mm diameter and with 128mm centres.
Pewter bow handles come in a range of lengths from 101mm to 186mm overall
