Bohle Launches the Hardware Gospel

New Timber Doors of Distinction from East Coast Fittings

Manufacturer and distributor of quality furniture components and fittings, East Coast Fittings has introduced three new timber doors.

The two shaker designs – one in Oak and one in Black Walnut – both feature solid 20mm thick rails and stiles which are 93mm wide. In the case of the Black Walnut, the 8mm chipboard centre panel has been veneered with American Walnut and then over-veneered with European Walnut to create a rich and subtle hue. ‘Fine featuring on the frame details distinguish this as an original ECF product as do the matching accessories which include a curved door and drawer front option, the featured handle is ECF’s new dovetail design in brushed nickel.

The Oak shaker design is versatile, sitting equally comfortably in a contemporary or classic setting. The 8mm centre panel is veneered in carefully selected Oak grain and again, subtle feature details on the rails and stiles distinguish this as an ECF design. A similar range of accessories and options are available and ECF designers have selected the company’s Titan bow handle in a satin nickel finish to enhance and offset the design.

The third new door in the collection is the Square design of European Knotty Oak. This door is recognisable by its wide 103mm frame in solid 21mm Oak and a solid 8mm Oak centre panel. The character of the Oak has been carefully selected to present a classical style reminiscent of past crafts yet with modern applications.
Again ECF designers have included subtle distinctions, a rich patina and an extensive range of accessories to match the full matrix of sizes. In this case the featured handle chosen is the ECF designed Titan D-handle with a strong back plate.

Plum Beautiful from EDP

European Decorative Products (EDP) now has available two new décor foils from Pentadecor that blend well with offset subtle plain carcase hues.

The Light Plum features detail of the gentle grain structures of this flowing timber and accentuates the delicate spring green and subtle pink colouration in the grain. It is a contemporary décor and positioned alongside Pentadecor's Smooth Ivory uni-colour foil this soft touch Light Plum offers an array of design combinations.

The richer and more bold Dark Plum décor foil looks to a modern design sector of the market where Walnut and Cherry decors are vogue but with this Dark Plum the intricate grain structures are not lost. When combined in contrast with Pentadecor's Vanilla uni-colour foil the offset heightens the effect.
