Cdx Aluminium Cabinets are available with one, two or three mirrored doors, all with anodised aluminium extruded trim. Designed to retail between £250 and £600, there are sizes and shapes to suit most rooms and a variety of storage needs, from compact square models for toiletries to tall cabinets which can also accommodate towels and cleaning products. The 30x150cm model not only provides plenty of storage but incorporates a useful full length mirrored door.

Cdx Aluminium Framed Mirrors also offer a choice of sizes and shapes, with broad or narrow frames in fashionable anodised aluminium. Cdx Bathroom Scales are the height of modern design and technical expertise. The round glass electronic scale is sleek and contemporary, combining a 36cm diameter safety glass platform with a polished chrome base and LCD readout, designed to retail at £95. There are three design options for the distinctive mechanical scale, all featuring a 30cm square safety glass platform through which the distinctive mechanisms and easy to read dials can be seen, along with a base in a choice of light wood, dark wood or polished chrome. Cdx Wall Mounted Accessories are carefully designed to complement Cdx cabinets, shelves and framed mirrors, or to work with existing bathroom fixtures. The launch collection features three complete ranges in chrome plated solid brass with concealed fixings and distinctive designs to suit every scheme. Now available from Aico Lighting is a new range of luxury bathroom fittings, which includes IP44 rated bathroom mirror wall lights with a choice of a full sized fluorescent mirror light or halogen, universally adjustable wall-bracketed concave shaving mirror with 3x magnification.

Furniture in the Lakes

Birmingham-based Impulse Bathrooms has introduced a range of bathroom furniture to complement its ever-growing range of quality sanitary ware. A selection of contemporary and modern vanity tables, glass top tables and wall-mounted support frames, with and without integral towel rails, was specially commissioned by Impulse to satisfy the needs of a growing number of trade customers and consumers.

A distinctive look, with a slightly oriental feel, can be achieved with the Windermere glass top vanity unit. A good practical size it retains a feeling of light and space through the combination of glass and wood and features a handy glass lower shelf for storage. Another glass option from the Impulse range is the Lucerne shelf unit. Highly fashionable, the tinted glass and chrome offers a compact and stylish mounting for the Impulse Odessa basin at an attractive price. The lower support arms double as towel rails and the unit is tidily mounted directly on to the wall for a neat fit. In conjunction with a chrome bottle trap and waste pipe this offers a classic look.

Last, but not least, Impulse has introduced the Maggiore wall support frame (pictured). A sturdy and robust design, the frame is manufactured using fully chromed steel with stainless steel fixings and is not only practical, but visually pleasing with a modern, functional appeal. It has been designed to fit and mount the Impulse Pisa above counter vanity basins and comes in two sizes depending on the basin chosen. A useful towel rail is located between the two support rails.

The design and quality features associated with Impulse products have been retained in this new range of bathroom furniture and further products in the range are expected to be announced shortly.

A Sign of the Times

The humble door sign has moved up in the world thanks to d-line’s extensive Sign Selection range. The range comprises a selection of door signs available in a choice of finishes including; stainless steel, folio (for paper inserts), silk-screened pictograms and an eye-catching frosted bead blasted green ICI Perspex.

The signs in the Sign Selection are flexible and aesthetically pleasing making them easy to specify. They can be mounted in a vertical or horizontal position, parts can protrude if extra emphasis in needed on certain words or pictures, and the special fixing system allows the signs to be mounted on a door or a wall.

The folio ‘paper holding’ sign in the Sign Selection range allows for last minute changes to be made by simply fitting a new piece of paper in to the sign containing the new details. The use of materials ensures the sign maintains a high quality look as though it was the original sign designed for the building.

The signs in dline’s Sign Selection package are designed in association with Knud Holscher Design of Copenhagen and are part of dline’s Total Solution package of architectural hardware, designed by architects, for architects. Design Innovation from Four Seasons

Four Seasons has a range of flexible accessories aimed at helping the retailer create eye-catching designer features to meet the requirements of the consumer.

The variety of unit widths and heights available in the Four Seasons range provide the opportunity to plan in dressers and tall wall units alongside standard units, breaking up long runs of wall units for a more open feel.

To recreate a built-in look, larder units and appliance housings can be recessed into the wall and boxed in with new Four Seasons 25mm thick scribing panels. Downlighters can be fitted to the overhang of the panel to provide useful task lighting in the area.

Decorative legs are available for all kitchens to give a fashionable, free-standing look and offer a stylish alternative to the traditional plinth. Finished in contemporary satin chrome, the legs work particularly well in a more modern setting.
