InSinkErator's Grand Designs for Evolution paid off

InSinkErator, one of the world's leading manufacturers of sink appliance technology, unveiled a sneak preview of Evolution (said to be the world's most advanced range of food waste disposers) at Grand Designs Live 2009 - and it went down a storm with the stand's many visitors.

Due to hit the UK market in late Summer / early Autumn '09, the Evolution series is thought to be the first range of disposers able to grind all food waste - without exception - and one that will revolutionise the UK food waste disposer category. Large bones and stringy food are no problem for this new breed of disposer, which breaks food waste into small particles in seconds.

There are two products in the range, the Evolution 100 and Evolution 200. The latter features an unprecedented three stage grind system which ensures truly exceptional performance and the finest possible grind. The Evolution 100 includes an advanced, two stage grind that is said to offer improved performance over alternative products available on the market.

The Evolution range incorporates advanced new sound and vibration reduction technology - with the Evolution 200, a significant 60% quieter than a standard food waste disposer. The new models are also more aesthetically pleasing than their predecessors with a highly contemporary look and feel; putting food waste disposers firmly on a par with other kitchen essentials like microwaves, dishwashers and ovens.
