Chic and Sleek - The New Campaver from Dimplex

Dimplex is bringing chic to bathrooms with the new Campaver luxury bathroom radiator, ‘a sophisticated glass-fronted design that's sure to enhance any bathroom’.

Available in black, white or with a tinted mirrored finish the Campaver introduces the Dimplex multi-heat source 'Inertia' technology. This combines highly efficient aluminium radiant elements with a surface heating film providing radiant and convected heat to warm towels and heat the room.

This mix of different heating sources also ensures an even temperature distribution across the surface of the glass, while the inertia of retained heat in the glass continues to be emitted once the heater has been switched off.

The Campaver also incorporates a discreetly integrated fan with a high output boost for extra-fast room heating.

An added bonus of the Campaver is that, because its electric, it is 100% efficient at point of use and very flexible to install as it's not constrained by the limitation of pipework limited by plumbing availability.

The Campaver has chrome rails and is available in a choice of 1200W or 1600W outputs and is IPX4 splashproof rated for safe use in bathrooms / en suites. It comes with a two year guarantee.

Hot Artwork from MHS Radiators

MHS says that admirers of modern art will be delighted at the possibilities presented by the Boreas. It looks like a piece of sculpture but is, of course, a stylish radiator. Positioned on the wall at eye level it can double as both!

The Boreas features a square, satin stainless steel body with a contrasting convex dome of polished stainless steel in the centre. Measuring 700mm high x 700mm wide x 140mm deep and with an output of 2077 watts, it challenges the way homeowners view their central heating by adding a space-age dimension to contemporary homes.

The Boreas forms part of MHS's newly launched collection of modern and ultra modern radiators, and retails at a starting price of £1,081.

Aeon's Speira Provides the Perfect Focal Point for Architectural Spaces

With cues drawn from the symmetry and beauty of a DNA strand and engineered to heat the largest of spaces, Speira from Aeon Radiator Heaven is a sculptural installation designed to be centrally mounted in modern open plan rooms.

Speira is constructed from 120 individual satin finish brushed stainless steel blades sited precisely at 90° to the next and curving through 180° from top to bottom over the full 2,400 mm height of the design.

The result of this precision engineering is an almost Escher like (Maurits Cornelius Escher, 1898-1972, most famous for his so-called impossible structures, such as Ascending and Descending, and Relativity) effect with the eye being drawn through and around the centre of the design, which appears as a continuous spiral no matter from what angle it is viewed.

LED lights housed in both the top and base of Speira project a subtle laser-like effect across each blade, accentuating the effect of the apparently intertwined semi-spirals created by the precise positioning of each individual blade.

The base of this centrally mounted radiator conceals all plumbing pipe work and valve connections, combining engineering expertise and aesthetic consideration in equal measure.
Speira's spiral effect is also continued to ground level with screened cut-out elements precisely matching the dimensions of each blade tip continuing to floor level.

Unlike many contemporary designer radiators, as much attention to detail has been applied to Speira's energy efficiency and overall heat output as to the visual elements. Its low water content, high area of wet surface and very high circulation provides a heat output of 5,998 Watts, enough to heat the largest of open rooms.

Crafted from 138kg of the highest grade solid stainless steel, Speira is designed for rooms with a ceiling height of between 2.4 - 2.75 metres. Width and depth is 510 mm. Two variants are available, the larger with 120 blades, the smaller with 60 blades and a heat output of 3,116 Watts. Retail price for the Speira 60 is £5,250.00, and for the Speira 120 is £9,240.00.

The entire Aeon Collection is produced from the highest grade solid stainless steel and ranges from small towel warmers to the mighty 31,611 Btu (9,254 Watt) output Millennium.

Every radiator is hand-finished to create the collections' stunning 'metal in the raw' brushed stainless steel effect. The craftsmanship and quality of the Aeon Collection is such that a 20 year guarantee applies across the range.

Three Operations in One is Easy with the New Devireg 535 from DEVI

DEVI's latest digital timer thermostat model, the devireg 535, features a floor sensor plus a room sensor in a single unit that can regulate either all types of room or floor temperatures - or a combination of the two.

The easy-to-operate devireg 535 thermostat controls the temperature in an entire house or selected rooms. With the new model, DEVI has solved the challenge of controlling temperatures in rooms located at a distance from the thermostat by introducing the new Electronic Thermal Compensator (ETC).

The devireg 535 is the first ETC-programmed thermostat and works by allowing users to enter three programme settings that best match their heating control needs, whatever the size of rooms in a property.

A 14 amp relay enables the unit to control floor heating on areas as large as 34 m2 at 100 Watt per m2. Adjusting the thermostat settings as you need for heating changes is simple thanks to the versatile devireg 535's user-friendly design.

Safety features include a childproof design and a two-pole safety switch that interrupts the thermostat if a fault occurs. DEVI's Sensor Failure Monitoring system ensures that floor heating is immediately interrupted in the event of a short circuit.

The devireg 535 is ideal for heating underneath wood floors as a pre-set maximum temperature prevents damage to the wood surface. Similarly, bathrooms can be set to a minimum temperature so they are always comfortably warm.

The multi-purpose thermostat is also IP class 31, making it suitable for installing in wet rooms. Super-efficient, the devireg 535 has the lowest stand-by energy consumption of any product on the market.

The Silhouette Radiator

The Bisque Silhouette is Daniel Ashley's revolutionary design for an electric radiator. Re-working the traditional column radiator, the heating element is screen printed onto glass, creating a delicate and highly distinctive pattern.

The combination of state of the art technology, detailing reminiscent of cast iron radiators and ceramic glass - a material not usually associated with radiators - is innovative and instantly appealing.

'Everyone loves the old fashioned, Edwardian column radiators, so I wanted to produce a modern version,' says Daniel Ashley.

Dan Ashley is twenty five years old and comes from a fine art background. He is a graduate of the Central St Martins College of Art and Design. His Silhouette radiator design was this year's winner of the Bisque Radiators Award at this year's New Designers.

The New Design by Paul Priestman for Bisque

Outline is the clean-cut, dramatic, new feature radiator designed by Paul Priestman for Bisque.

This loop-shaped radiator is made from coiled steel tubing which creates a simple, bold, outline with no harsh angles. It can be mounted horizontally and vertically depending on the constraints of a building and fits into an ultra modern environment or a traditional, classic interior.

'Everyday radiators should be desirable,' says Paul Priestman, 'rather than the ubiquitous pressed metal radiator that still exists on so many walls. My thinking was to design a refreshingly simple, modular radiator that could be used throughout buildings. Outline is beautifully detailed and quietly gets on with its job.'

Sizes:
Vertical: 1200mm, 1500mm, 1800mm
Horizontal: 1000, 1400, 1800mm

Colours: White, aluminium finish, acid green
Price: from £600

The Echo Radiator

Echo is a dramatic, cast aluminium radiator, designed for Bisque by Philip Watts.

Individually cast, vertical elements have a chunky, assertive presence and the reflection of light from its highly polished surfaces make this radiator an attention seeker, even in the largest of spaces.

'The Echo radiator explores forms and materials I'm obsessed with,' says Philip Watts. 'The versatility of aluminium and its great strength allow for considerable innovation in terms of shape.'

The prototype of Echo is one of Bisque's Designs for the Future, showcased at 100% Design.

Philip Watts Design is a Nottingham based design studio, known for contemporary and highly creative ironmongery, organic aluminium staircases and the lively interiors at Yo!Sushi.

The Matrix Trilogy from MHS

Choosing radiators for a property is now easier with the Matrix portfolio from MHS, a versatile range of modern radiators suitable for the conservatory, the office, the kitchen and even the bathroom. Rather than install a variety of different radiators throughout a property, developers and renovators now only need to pick one.

The Matrix Convector is the ideal heating system for domestic and small commercial environments with large areas of glazing such as offices, hotel rooms, shops and conservatories. Available in four models, with its low profile, the radiator can be discreetly placed without detracting from the building's design or taking up valuable wall space. Heights for the Convector range from 70 - 280mm with lengths up to 6000mm.

The Matrix Horizontal is a discreet flat-fronted radiator suitable for both domestic and commercial environments. It is available in four models with depths of 32 - 133mm, lengths of 500 to 6000mm and 12 standard heights.

Its counterpart, the striking Matrix Vertical is available in four models with depths of 32 - 103mm, fourteen heights from 1000 - 3600mm and lengths from 70-1400mm, allowing it to fill a kitchen wall or be squeezed into the smallest bathroom corner.

The Matrix radiators are manufactured from 700mm x 1.5mm steel tubes and have a working pressure of 4.6 bar. Each radiator has the option of wall or floor mounting brackets, depending on application. The radiators are guaranteed for five years and are finished with RAL 9010. Other colours are available on request.
