On Reflection, It's Clearly Another Innovation from Myson

Myson has unveiled a new glass towel warmer and radiator which the company says is unique to the UK domestic heating market.

Mirage is made from glass, with no visible heating element, and comes in three styles - Crystal (clear), Patterned and Mirror.

Not only does it bring a new material to the market, but it also uses new technology to provide high heat output with no visible element and each unit comes with a wireless programmable room thermostat with a range of 20m. There is no need for a transformer, making the unit slimline and attractive.

Mirage can be used either as a radiator, or with an attachable rail to become a towel warmer. Sizes range from 600mm x 400mm to 1500mm x 700mm and prices start at £995.

The radiated heat output of 1000w per square metre means that Mirage is not only stylish, allowing the decorative nature of its surroundings to shine through, but also effective as a space heater.

Wall mounted as standard, each unit comes with an attachable rail, and portable or fixed feet are available to provide flexibility of siting when used as a floor mounted radiator. Each towel warmer is splash proof to IP46 and made from two 6mm plates of glass which sandwich a metallic sheet so thin it is completely transparent.

Design features include:

* Top quality fittings
* Ready to use ‘plug 'n' play’
* Easy, dirt-free installation
* Easily programmable via remote unit
* Remote unit can control a group of heaters
* Ideal for allergic sufferers due to radiant heat
* Multiple protection against overheating
* Maximum stability and durability

Tony Bennett, General Manager of Myson Towel Warmers, said: ‘Myson's Mirage range brings something completely new to home design and heating in this country.

‘The concept of a glass radiator or towel warmer, let alone a mirror which doubles as a heater, is something which we expect designers and style-conscious home owners to fully embrace.

‘Not only is Mirage stylish and unique, it is also tough, safe and very effective and is an excellent addition to the Myson range.’

Moods Radiates with New Range

Moods Bathrooms has introduced a new range of heated towel rails to its expanding bathroom collection, in response to what the company describes as ‘an increasing demand for high quality wall mounted towel radiators’.

In line with its 'mix & match' philosophy, twelve new towel rails offer the consumer a wide choice of looks and sizes to complement any bathroom shape or style.

Today's towel warmers are ideal for space-saving solutions, utilising wall as oppose to floor space - fulfilling both aesthetic and practical goals.

Dimensions range from 450 to 600mm in width, and 750 to 1150mm in height, with output wattage ranging from 417 to 776 watts / 1424 to 2650 BTU. Finishes include highly polished chrome or brilliant white plus there is the option of a flat or curved design.

The towel rail range is compatible with all UK gas central heating systems and provides Moods retailers and merchants with an additional bathroom product to help maximise sales. In particular, consumers with limited bathroom space to plan around should be made aware of the towel rail options - also suitable for en-suites and cloakrooms, as well as serving as a focal point for the room.

Malva or Bonsai Which One to Choose?

Malva and Bonsai are sister towel radiators available from Vasco. They are both suitable for either the bathroom or kitchen.

Malva has straight rails and Bonsai has curved rails giving the customer a choice of style.

Chrome and stainless steel are just two of the finishes available. These two finishes are the top fashion choices at the moment in the UK and as well as looking good they are durable and easy to clean.

The Malva can be free standing, allowing it to become a room divider, or simply fixed at 90 degrees to a wall as a feature.

In a bathroom it can be a screen between basin and wc for example or a subtle divider between kitchen and dining room in an open plan living arrangement.

All the Vasco radiators and towel radiators come complete with a 10 year guarantee and are part of The Express Stock range offering high quality designer style radiators within three days.

Good display rates are offered by Vasco for any retailer wishing to show its products within a showroom.

Launch of Sunline Radiant Ceiling Panels

MHS Boilers Ltd has announced the Sunline range of radiant ceiling heating panels. A tried and trusted heat emitter in mainland Europe – especially in sectors like education, leisure, retail, manufacture and logistics - radiant ceiling panels offer advantages over systems such as direct fired air heaters and traditional radiators.

Sunline radiant ceiling panels have the ability to provide a targeted, heating solution in areas notoriously difficult to heat, for example warehouses where heat is required in the aisles only, factories where staff work stations perhaps only require heat, and sports halls where games such as badminton cannot tolerate excessive air movement.

Due to the Sunline delivering heat exactly where it is required and operating at airspace temperatures, typically 3° C lower than a convective system, real energy saving potential can be realised. Additionally, if Sunline panels are specified as an alternative to direct fired systems, even greater economies can be achieved due to the higher efficiencies of the boiler plant which provides the heat. These are due to the short heat up times for these low water content units, which coupled with low maintenance, controllability and efficient temperature distribution in the heated areas can yield savings up to 30%.

Independently tested and with outputs certified to EN14037 Parts 1 and 3, Sunline panels are formed from heating elements welded into large area profiled sheets with a 40mm layer of thermal insulation attached to the upper face. Hot water from the buildings boilers passes through the pipes in the panels, radiating heat downward to the walls, floors and occupants.

Manufactured from 1.2mm cold rolled steel, these ruggedly constructed units are given a factory powder coat finish in white (although other colours are available on request) and can operate up to 10 bar.

The Sunline range is available in nine panel widths from 300mm to 1500mm at 150mm increments and the specifier has the option of connecting as many panels as required for any particular installation. The maximum length of a single panel is 6000mm. Runs longer than this can be achieved by connecting panels with either press fittings or welding (depending on service pressures and temperatures required).

To ensure the aesthetic integrity and performance of every Sunline installation MHS offers a range of cover plates, mitre panels, dummy panels, cut out openings which facilitate the inclusion of light fittings, loudspeakers or ventilation diffusers. Perforated panels for sound absorption are also available.
