Ideal-Standard
Launches Cone Brassware
Cone
from Ideal Standard is a new range
of bathroom brassware and accessories designed by Robin Levien RDI. The
distinctive conical reference of Cone brassware evolves the popular view
of minimalism away from pure cylinders.
The basin and bidet mixers in the Cone range incorporate the latest Multiport
cartridges from Ideal-Standard, which include a temperature safety stop.
The design of the monoblock bath filler is led by the new technology,
the smaller size of the Multiport cartridge allows the slimmer shape and
through this technology the fittings work at the lowest pressures while
delivering strong flow for rapid bath filling.
The range includes single lever basin and bidet mixers; basin and bath
pillar taps; one-hole bath filler and both two hole bath filler and bath/shower
mixer.
A co-ordinated range of Cone accessories is also available. This comprises
11 pieces including an extensive choice of soap dishes, toilet roll holders
and towel rails.

'Caress'
and 'Boater' Shower Roses and Accessories from Gnutti
Gnutti
Ltd
manufactures 'Caress' and 'Boater' shower roses in Italy. The company
says that because they are made of stainless steel AISI 304, they are
hygienic and durable. They are particularly suited for shower rooms in
gyms and coastal site locations where the salty atmosphere is more corrosive.
They are available in a choice of finishings such as: Mirror, Satin, Polished
Nickel, Antique Gold PYD, Pale Gold PVD, Oil Rubbed Bronze PVD and Chrome
PVD.
The shower accessories of heavy duty design, are made of chromium plated
brass. Thanks to its shape the new 'Pelican' shower arm allows a shower
height from floor level that should prove satisfactory for a comfortable
shower, even for tall people.
Gnutti Ltd has recently introduced an overhead shower rose called Dama,
which features a linen effect. Made from deep drawn stainless steel sheeting,
the shower rose is then embossed by a cold lamination of mosaic squares
in sequence - one matt then one mirror finish. The styling of these shower
roses captures the Old England classic mosaic tradition, while the shower
rose itself gives the performance of a voluminous rain shower. Sizes available
are 150, 200 and 300 mm diameter.

Shower
Towers with Mass Appeal from Triton
Triton
has launched two new Shower Towers intended to bring luxurious top end
spa products to a wider audience.
No longer just a functional space, the bathroom is increasingly seen by
consumers as the next big thing in terms of making a design
statement. Mirroring this trend, Tritons new Shower Towers have
been introduced with lifestyle in mind, at a competitive price to appeal
to a mass market.
The Shower Towers form part of Tritons recently launched Unichrome
range of contemporary mixers, completing Tritons showering offering
and providing a product to suit every application.
Available in white as well as a Satin Chrome version, the Shower Tower
has a fixed showerhead, multiple body jets and a handset, giving consumers
a total of seven different combinations to customise their showering experience.
In addition, the five different spray modes are capable of everything
from an aerating Champagne spray for general use to a pulsating Jet spray
for a luxury massage.
Installation is simple, with easy connection to hot and cold water supplies
and two fixing brackets for attaching the unit to the wall. Maximum performance
is achieved at 3 bar running pressure, but the Shower Towers will operate
anywhere between 0.5 bar and 6 bar running pressure.
Lorna Fellowes, managing director at Triton, comments, UK consumers
are beginning to look to the Continent when deciding what to put into
their bathrooms. Having experienced new ways of showering while on holiday,
they want to recreate the same level of luxury and performance in their
own homes.
With the launch of the Shower Towers, Triton is encouraging consumers
to consider an item that has until now been aimed at the luxury end of
the market as well within their price range.
Tritons Shower Towers have a recommended retail price of around
£249. For further information contact Triton on 02476 344441 or
visit the website at http://www.tritonshowers.co.uk.

The
Next Generation of Electric Showers from Triton Not Just A Pretty
Fascia
The
Topaz T100si is a thermostatic electric shower, which offers the user
comfort and reassurance at an affordable price. Triton
says that it also mirrors the modern lifestyle, with its design features.
'Square
is out' and 'oval is in' plus a touch of colour to suit the bathroom décor
is added via the interchangeable fascias.
People are now spending a great deal of time on designing their
homes to reflect their individual taste. We only have to look at the many
home design television programmes to realise that this is becoming a passion,
a new found occupation and relaxation for many of us in our spare time.
In an increasingly affluent society, people want to enhance and differentiate
their homes. Designing interesting bathrooms, with unique design features,
is very much a part of this. Fitting a white box on the wall is functional
but not very inspirational. comments Lorna Fellowes at Triton.
Over the last couple of years, we have seen great success with the
Aspirante range. Now the Topaz range will expand on that concept and give
our customers more lifestyle choice. The Topaz products come with a subtle
colour version already fitted. Numerous colour options, including chrome,
are available to purchase as an accessory, which can be easily fitted
and indeed changed at will, potentially every time you change the colour
of your towels!
The fascia is available from stockists, Triton's Customer Service
Department or our website http://www.tritonshowers.co.uk.
Lorna Fellowes continues: We are often asked whats the next
big thing in showering?. Well, where technology is concerned, its
the thermostatic electric shower, which has become the norm for the mixer
market and is going the same way in the electric market, motivated by
an ever increasing demand for more efficient, high performance products.
Although technically advanced, the Topaz T100si is as easy to install
as standard Triton electric showers and is available in 8.5kW, 9.5kW and
10.5kW.
The water heater features a limescale trap that can be easily removed
and helps reduce the need for future maintenance. In addition, there are
numerous entry points for the water and cable connections to help make
installation hassle free.
The Topaz T100si has a LCD that works in the same way as a mobile phone.
A number of display features will help the user:
The temperature is in °C
The temperature dial shows arrows, which flash to confirm whether
the temperature is going up or down when the knob is turned and, at the
same time, segments appearing around the display will increase or decrease
accordingly.
When the stop button is pressed, the display will indicate that
the shower is about to be shut down, while the heater unit empties.
The display will also show whether the pressure has fallen too
low and indicate when the showerhead needs cleaning.
The Topaz T100si comes with a new shower kit, which complements the style
and design of the unit. The kit features a mechanical handset holder for
an easy, single-handed movement of the showerhead.
Lorna Fellowes concludes:
More and more people in the UK want not just a good quality, wellperforming
shower but want style and design and a way of personalising their bathroom.
The Topaz range gives them that.

Showerlux
Promises Paradise with new Eden
Designed
specifically for the UK market, Eden from Showerlux
combines curved glass doors and panels together with sleek, curved profiles
and a dedicated shower tray to offer consumers a stylish shower solution.
Phil Viner, Showerlux Product Manager, comments: The launch of this
new enclosure collection is a hugely exciting time for us. Following months
of consultation with focus groups and a product development programme
combining members from the UK Showerlux team and European Duscholux companies,
we feel that Eden will meet the design demands of UK consumers as well
as being a technically advanced showering solution.
We are confident that Edens unique and striking design will
prove popular with retailers and consumers alike. In keeping with general
design trends and growing consumer demand for sleek, contemporary styling,
the popularity of curved glass designs has rocketed over the past 12 months.
As such, we are confident that Edens unique combination of curved
glass doors and panels will prove to be a great success and we expect
this new range to reinforce our position as a leader in enclosure design.
The Eden collection includes pivot, bi fold and sliding door options in
various configurations, from the more traditional door and side panel
to more innovative space enhancing solutions. Eden also has a number of
optional features including a duckboard and integral profile shelving.

ClearTap
by Ideal-Standard
One
of the most effective ways for kitchen dealers to add value to their sales
is to upgrade their designs with added-value fittings; ClearTap
from Ideal-Standard is a good example.
This water-filtering mixer is a part of The Kitchen Works collection and
with features like one-hole installation, simple filter-change indicator
and highly accessible under-sink filter housing, the ClearTap is both
effective and simple to use.
ClearTap provides normal hot and cold supply as well as pure drinking
water straight from the kitchen tap. The built-in filter improves taste
and makes drinking water clean and virtually clear of odours, lead, chlorine
and potentially harmful waterborne micro-organisms but does not remove
beneficial fluoride.
A simple movement of the mixer handle provides filtered water on demand
and the digital readout lets the users know precisely how many days of
filter life remain.
Available in chrome, ClearTap is suitable for high-pressure systems
only.
The Kitchen Works is a fully comprehensive collection of kitchen taps,
mixers and fireclay sinks from Ideal-Standard, Armitage Shanks and Jado.

Convert
the Bath into a Luxury Shower Experience - Introducing the Deluxe Power-Shower
Proof Noventa Bath Screen
Flair
International Ltd.,
the Irish manufacturer of bath screens and shower enclosures, has introduced
the Noventa bath screen - a power- shower proof bath screen. The company
says that unlike normal bath screens, which act as simple water deflectors
that can leak all over the bathroom floor, Noventa does not leak, because
it has full length vertical magnetic strips between the hinges and an
integrated barrier bar to ensure waterproof showering.
Noventas design extends to clip-on top profiles allowing the screen
to be framed or frameless to suit the customers taste and the screens
5mm glass panels are hinged to allow easy access to the bath. For ease
of installation, a wall fixing method allows an adjustment of up to 15mm
for out-of-true walls, making Noventa a great shower experience for the
installer as well as the customer.
Noventa is designed to fit with every modern bathroom scheme with finishes
available in polished silver or bright white. Unlike an unsightly
shower curtain, the superior Noventa bath screen is practical, hygienic,
built to last, and brings five star luxury to any bathroom. says
the company.
Screens are reversible for left hand or right hand installations and available
in a choice of:-
single panel (1450 x 900mm)
two panel as shown (1450 x 1000mm)
