Front Sliding Door enclosure. This space-enhancing design has been specially
created to provide a stylish and luxurious showering area that can be

The
new Acora Bow Front Sliding Door enclosure features contemporary curved
sliding doors, which provide an alternative to traditional enclosure designs.
It is only 550mm deep at the sides, which increases to 850mm at its deepest
point in the middle. As a result of this design, the Bow Front Sliding
Door is able to fit into unusual or awkward spaces in the bathroom, utilising

Ireland-based
bathroom specialist Adamsez has recently
concluded negotiations with shower company Cesana Spa of Milan, which
grants Cesana license to use Adamsez patents to create cutting edge shower
trays. The agreement follows hot on the heels of UK manufacturers Ideal
Standard, Polypipe and Kohler Daryl, which have also secured license to
utilise tray designs invented by Adamsez.
So what's so special about Adamsez' invention? Although acrylic is the
undisputed champion when it comes to choosing an easy clean shower tray
with excellent colour consistency and unbeatable durability, the material
is flawed on one level: rigidity. Besides the alarming feeling of stepping
onto a surface that moves under foot, the flexible nature of acrylic has
long caused problems with regards to creating a water-tight seal around
the tray.
In
a determined bid to stop tray movement damaging the seal around their
trays Adamsez has come up with a simple solution. By moving the tray's
feet right to the very perimeter of the tray (instead of their usual location
tucked two-three inches inwards), their rigidity has been transformed.
For
extra security, Adamsez has added a timber chassis around the underside
of the tray, which acts as additional reinforcement. When seeking new
shower tray feet that would further enhance the sturdiness of the trays,
Adamsez turned to the kitchen for inspiration and adopted adjustable cabinetry
feet of the kind you would normally associate with kitchen furniture.
The wide circular 'bosses' on the top and bottom of these feet help keep the shower panel tightly in place - leaving no room for the shower panel to slip forward - and their screw-turn adjustability is a major boon for fitters, who can achieve a level tray with ease.
Finally,
leaving no stone unturned, Adamsez has developed 'click-on/click-off'
panel fixings that enable the tray to be easily slotted into position,
and, perhaps more importantly, easy to remove should there ever be a problem
and a plumber need access behind.
