The new line is packed with features and delivers the quality and cooling
performance expected of a Maytag branded appliance. The new sizing and
styling fits with Maytag's on-going push into additional category channels,
as well as offering a range of refrigeration to fit all needs.
The new range of top mounted refrigeration, available in white or stainless
steel exterior is decked with storage solutions and styling. The features
of the new models include;

A Complete Range of Appliances

has a range of built-in and freestanding appliances, with several products
expected to make their UK debut over the coming few months.
First
up was a new triple-A-rated freestanding dishwasher (available in both
white and stainless-steel), which has been completely redesigned from
the ground up. Featuring water consumption of just 12 litres on a main
wash and a noise level of only 45 dB(A), the product also offers a half-load
facility for both top and bottom baskets, while an innovative design for
the multiple spray arms ensures even water distribution and cleaning power
throughout the machine.
Entering the UK washer-dryer market last month, is the electronic FUS-3611,
offering a 6kg wash capacity and 4kg drying capacity – among the
highest available in standard 60cm appliances, and all achieved with an
A-rating for wash performance and a B-rating for energy use. The FUS-3611
benefits from the 32cm 180-degree-opening door found on Fagor’s washing
machines, along with easy-iron, extra-rinse and programme-time-reduction
buttons.
In refrigeration, a larger-capacity version of the stainless-steel-finished
FC-47 NFX UK fridge-freezer (featuring Fagor’s patented Hygienizer
filter for removing food odours inside the appliance) is now available.
A stainless-steel tower storage unit (designed to accommodate appliances
such as a microwave oven and in-column dishwasher) is a recent arrival,
while the electronic oven from the Innova range can be integrated into
the stylish 120cm stainless-steel Cooking Centre.
On the aesthetic side, an aluminium-finished integrated dishwasher and
freestanding washing machine are available to complement the aluminium-finished
H-800 AL single oven and 3CFT- 200 AL 90cm hood.
Meanwhile, the advanced Innova range launched in the UK last summer includes
a large choice of single ovens, including the all-aluminium-finished H-800
AL and the H-196 N featuring aluminium handle and controls on black glass.
There is an equally large choice of hobs. The double-A-rated FU-3613 L
X freestanding washing machine in stainless-steel finish, featuring Fagor’s
patented Advanced Balance System (ABS) to ensure even loads and reduce
vibration, is also available.

Light
and transparency are the defining aesthetic features of the Antartica
hood. One of Elica's latest products,
Antartica is an island hood realised in stainless steel and tempered glass
and equipped with 4 high-efficiency halogen lamps.
The new-concept aluminium and steel grease filter can be washed in the
dishwasher, and a ‘Long Life’ filter is also available. This
filter can also be washed in the dishwasher and then dried in the oven,
giving it a three-year life-span.
Antartica has been designed using Elica's noise-reducing Optimised Aspiration
System to obtain maximum aspiration with minimum noise. Using the ‘muffle’
attachment, noise can even be reduced by a further 3 dBA. The backlit
push-button controls let you operate all the functions of the hood with
a simple brush of the fingers.

If
glasses had eyes ... they would shine for Bosch!
Glasses do not have eyes, but they shine due to the many features Bosch
has united for their protection in the new Premium range of dishwashers
– the multi GlassProtec package.
With its infrared beam gauge OptoSensor monitors the lime content of the
water and thus regulates water softening optimally. In combination with
AquaSensor, the 'water soiling sleuth'and the protective heat exchanger
principle precious dishes are spared all the hard-ships of water.
The new VarioFlex baskets benefit users and fine glasses and dishes alike
in a variety of ways: A total of eight fold-away elements are located
in the top basket. The plate racks are divided and may be individually
adjusted according to the type and shape of the dishes. In addition to
the proven retaining brackets a further divided, equally fold-away rack
is featured for positioning glasses. They 'hold' for instance 12 Prosecco
glasses faster than ever before.
In the VarioFlex bottom basket there is a 2/3 division of the lockable
fold-away plate racks and a separate retaining bracket for long-stemmed
glasses. The former permits up to 12 wine glasses to be rinsed and held
in safety. There is still space for other dishes and cutlery. An especially
practical feature of VarioFlex is that all basket parts remain in the
dishwasher. No bulky extra glass inserts must be found a place in the
kitchen when not in use.
Twice as good as before are the new duo cutlery baskets. Whoever so wishes
may place them as usual in the centre of the bottom basket. However, they
may also be simply separated and secured at various positions in the top
or bottom basket. As the baskets may be split, when there is only little
cutlery to be washed, one of the baskets may be removed to leave space
for more dishes.
With regard to energy consumption, cleaning and drying efficiency the
new range have no need to hide behind the 'glass care zone' shield either:
they were awarded a straight treble of 'A' ratings!
Anyone wishing to do the environment, themselves and their glasses a little

Launches Flexible Compact Oven Options from ATAG
New
to the ATAG Matrix range is a collection
of Compact ovens which coordinate with all the Matrix products in the
ATAG range. There are five models in the Compact range: a combination
microwave, a microwave, a pyrolytic oven, a multifunction oven and a steam
oven.
‘Used
on its own, a Compact oven is a great space-saving solution’ says
