Value from Fagor with Advanced New Entry-point Single Ovens
With
the launch of its new range of entry-point single ovens finished in stainless
steel, Fagor says that it is delivering
fantastic value for the UK trade.
The
anticipated volume seller is the 5H-26 X multifunction single oven. Featuring
a tapering black inlay design within the overall stainless-steel finish,
the 5H-26 X comes with six cooking programmes: conventional heat; bottom
heat with fan; slow cook grill; fast cook grill; fast grill with fan;
and conventional heat with fan, enabling you to cook different dishes
at the same time without mixing tastes or smells.
The appliance comes with illuminated control knobs, and an electronic
display offering electronic control to set cooking start and end times,
with a warning buzzer when cooking is finished. Meanwhile, the removable
and reversible catalytic side panels make it easy to keep the oven interior
clean.
Safety has also received close attention on the 5H-26 X, with a function

New
Generation Cuisina Appliances from Waterline
The
new line-up of design co-ordinated Cuisina built-in appliances has been
introduced by Waterline. ‘This
second generation family of cooking, cooling and dishwashing appliances
gives mid-market consumers what they’re looking for: high production
values, functions they actually need and will use plus sleek, slimline
styling for the right visual effect,’ says Marketing Director, Tim
Hutchinson.
‘For
retailers, Cuisina offers competitive advantage with product exclusivity,
a keen pricing structure and an alternative to German brands. Cuisina
is also the complete style solution with matching finishes, trims, handles
and controls across the range.’
Three sizes of high specification, electric multifunction ovens with telescopic
shelves are the MF90 (90cm) built-in and MF70 (70cm) built-under double
ovens with 7 functions and the MF60 (60cm) single oven with 9. All have
LED clock programmer, are Class A energy rated (main oven) and are available
in stainless steel, black or white.
With automatic ignition, gas hobs are in 60, 70 and 90cm widths in finishes
to match the ovens and with easy access front controls in silver finish,
again to match the ovens. Different diameter burners offer flexibility
in use by accommodating any size of pan safely. Cast iron pan supports
provide extra stability.
Of particular interest and meeting growing demand for extra wide hobs
for a more flexible cooking area is the 90cm MH905G. In addition to the
four different diameter burners, this model has a high output (3.5kW)
triple flame wok burner for rapid cooking, positioned on the right of
the hob.
Cuisina electric ceramic hobs include 60cm and 78cm wide models with touch
control for ease of use. They are also easy to clean - another consumer
requirement.
There are now 14 cooker hood models for extraction or re-circulation to
suit all kitchen styles. Of particularly innovative design are the two
new Cylindra cylindrical- shape chimney and island hoods in stainless
steel finish and incorporating four halogen lights. Complementing a commercial
style kitchen is the new MATPRO 90cm panel hood that offers an especially

Dryer Timeline ZDC5370 from Zanussi-Electrolux
Take
the guess work out of drying with the roomy 6kg capacity condenser dryer
with sensor programmes from Zanussi-Electrolux.
The sensor drying measures the humidity levels in the machine, stopping
when the degree of dryness you have selected has been reached. This saves
energy – and prevents over drying, making clothes easier to iron.
Condenser drying is a huge benefit in its own right. Instead of having
to vent this model to the outdoors, all the water is condensed into a
storage drawer – which means total flexibility, you can put it anywhere.

Dishes Up Built-in Brilliance with New Dishwasher Range

is launching a new range of built-in dishwashers in the medium/upper-medium
sector.
Every appliance in the new eight-model range merits A-ratings for both
energy efficiency and wash performance, while premium versions even achieve
the Triple-A accolade for energy use, wash performance and drying efficiency
respectively. Water consumption is just 12 litres for a full programme
on several models in the range, with a maximum of 13 litres for the remainder.
A special Ecosensor even measures how cloudy the water is after rinsing,
and if it is sufficiently clean it is re-used, saving up to 25% of water
in each wash.
If
you’re in a hurry to wash and dry a complete load, simply press the
Time Reduction button, and the selected programme will take 30% less time
to complete while still maintaining top washing performance. If you’re
in a real hurry and there aren’t too many dishes to wash – for
example, if you want to re-use the first-course plates for the dessert
– simply select the Express programme, and your dishes will be ready
just 15 minutes later!
This is all down to Fagor’s Advanced Intelligence System (AIS), an
intelligent control system at the heart of each dishwasher, which enables
the machine to think for itself and adapt to every requirement.
‘When it comes to flexibility, Fagor really dishes up all the answers.’
Says the company. ‘Naturally, there’s a variable-load facility,
with the appliance automatically adjusting its energy and water use according
to the wash load. But the real icing on the cake is Fagor’s Duo Zone
facility that literally gives you two dishwashers in one! You can have
two types of wash load in the machine at the same time, with a more intensive
wash for resilient dishes in the lower basket and gentler treatment for
more sensitive items in the top basket. A ‘2-in-1’ cutlery basket
can be separated into two parts – ideal for when you’re using
the Duo Zone facility. You can even adjust the height of the upper basket
when it is fully loaded, in order to accommodate taller items – thanks
to Fagor’s special Super Easy system.’
Loading the appliance in the first place is easier, too, thanks to a door
that adjusts to the weight of the front integrated panel, so the door
always opens smoothly and gradually rather than suddenly falling down
heavily.
Fagor’s new built-in dishwashers also do everything as quietly as
possible, so you can happily chat in the kitchen after your meal while
the machine unobtrusively does the washing-up for you. All models feature
significantly quieter noise levels, but top models are 33dB(A) on the
main wash – thanks to Fagor’s Super Silent system, in conjunction
with appliance insulation and high cavity strength resulting from advanced
hydroforming technology borrowed from the car industry.
And when washing has been completed, the Perfect Drying facility on top
models eliminates the clouds of hot steam that normally emanate from the
dishwasher when you open the door.
Fagor has also made things easier when it comes to installing its built-in
dishwashers. All models are 20mm shallower in their front-to-back dimension,
allowing more space for the water pipes and electrical cables behind,
while adjusting the height of the rear of the appliance is easily done
from the front using a screwdriver.
One of the top models in Fagor’s new dishwasher range is the LFU-73
IT. This appliance features the Advanced Intelligent System (AIS); Triple-A
rating for energy use, wash performance and drying efficiency; Express
programme for 15-minute wash; appliance height adjustment from the front;
Perfect Drying; Duo Zone washing; Super Easy top basket; 12-litre water
consumption; and 33 dB(A) noise level.

Launches New Range of Small Domestic Appliances

domestic appliance manufacturer, Mistral,
has developed a contemporary new range of kettles, toasters, espresso
machines and sandwich makers.
Available
in a choice of two designs, brushed stainless steel or white and glass
with black housing, the appliances are suitable for the modern kitchen
and offer a new option for the independent retailer looking for reasonably
priced, desirable, quality products.
Stainless
steel
The stainless steel range includes two jug kettles, one dome kettle, two
toasters and an espresso machine. The signature piece in the range is
the 15 bar pump espresso machine, which not only makes espressos but is
also suitable for coffee pods, offering the consumer two different usages
out of the same machine.
Glass, ice white and black
A range of two kettles, one toaster and a sandwich toaster, the contrasting
