Solutions for Bathrooms from Haro
Haro
Sanitary
has recently introduced the space saving WC seat Nordica.
With a length of only 41 cm this seat, made of white duroplast, is customised
to small-sized ceramic ware. Despite the small circumference of the seat,
Haro Sanitary was able to maintain its usual inside dimensions for the
seat ring, a fact which significantly adds to the comfort of the seat.
The Nordica model features four buffers on the seat ring, an easy-to-clean
underside, and the so-called sandwich form in which the seat and cover
follow the same contours.
Mounted with a standard stainless steel hinge which is adjustable both
vertically and horizontally, the seat perfectly fits all standard ceramic
series.

Launches Pasadena Range with Accompanying Diadema Mixers
Dolomite
has recently launched the Pasadena range. The company says that this contemporary
suite has a timeless design, allowing the Pasadena suite to be coordinated
with any interior.
Dolomite
offers a comprehensive range of bathroom suites dedicated purely to the
retail market; Pasadena brings a more competitive suite to the Dolomite
range. Dolomite Marketing Manager Brian Grey comments, ‘Dolomite
products are aimed at the mid to luxury markets that are served by the

The Mohave basin (pictured) combines angles and curves. The new Mohave

Hall and Hall Top Basins
Versatile and stylish, the Hall basin is also neat and compact. This square
basin with a softly curving front is suitable as wall hung or countertop
– 550 x 480 x 140mm. The Hall Top is a slightly slimmer version designed

lndulgence
is a new suite from Twyford Bathrooms'
exclusively retail range: Twyford Pure. With its clean angular lines and
contemporary European styling, lndulgence encompasses sanitaryware, furniture
and accessories.
An
eclectic range, available in pure white, lndulgence offers maximum versatility.
There are three basins to choose from: a 600mm basin that can be wall
mounted with a ceramic semi-pedestal or positioned above furniture with
a chrome bottle trap, for a sleek modern look; while a 1200mm version
is big enough for two people to share. A 400mm single left- or right-hand
basin is also available for use in cloakrooms or en suites. The range

Ideal-Standard Launches Celia Collection
Designed
in Germany by the Theis Studios, Celia is a modern classic from Ideal-Standard.
Part of the Art, Design and Sculpture 2004 collection and launched at
KBB 2004, Celia is a design that works when fitted into its own furniture
ranges and equally well as ceramic pieces only.
Designers can use the Celia furniture to introduce a mixture of contrasting
materials into their designs, while providing elements of practical storage.
An example of this mix of materials is seen in the chrome, light maple
and acrylic that become a key focal point in the bathroom when combined
in this Celia Idealcast bath. At a generous 185 x 100cm this freestanding
bath is mounted in the wooden cradle.
Celia washbasins can be wall-mounted with or without semi-pedestals and
are available in three sizes - 60cm, 65cm and the 50cm handrinse basin
- all featuring the large bowl with a generously proportioned outer rim.

Kohler
Launches Eyecatching Sanitaryware and Iconic Bathing
Kohler
has launched new basins, sanitaryware and bathing products, from traditional
to contemporary.
With
the growing interest in basin design and the success of Kohler's Artist
Editions and countertop vessels collection, the company launched five
new basins, along with new colours for 2004.
Paradox is an oval wet surface basin to follow the success of Kohler's
Purist basin. It has the two-piece construction of an undercounter cast
iron basin and removable cast iron panel, which together create this product.
The minimalist, smooth surface emphasises the flowing water, while the
perimeter channel directs water to the cleverly hidden drain.
Murraya is a distinctive cast iron basin, in white and iron cobalt,
which is suitable for countertop, partly inset or wall mounted installation.
With curves resembling a blooming flower and decorative textured underside,
Murraya is reminiscent of design of the 1950s. It can be used with Kohler's
Tellieur free-standing furniture.
Water's Grove is a new vessel which takes its inspiration from
handcrafted Arts and Crafts pottery. Available in white, it features a
low relief floral pattern of clematis, hibiscus and lenten roses. It can
be partly inset as a vessel or wall mounted using the wall mounting bracket
and can be used with the Kohler Tellieur furniture.
Chord and WaterCove are two new contemporary basins in white
and also coordinate with Kohler's new Wake Up range of fitted fumiture.
Chord is available with one or three tap holes and WaterCove comes without
tap holes for either wall or deck mounted taps.
Kohler is introducing new colours into existing vessels for 2004. Bateau
is now available in Sandbar for a strong 'industrial' look and Crucible
now has three new interior colours Seagrass, Coastal Blue and Biscuit.
Both these vessels can be used with the Tellieur furniture.
Also on show is the chromatherapy feature of the sok over-flowing bath.
By controlling the movement and texture of water, Kohler creates a waterborne
experience with this iconic product. The design is based on an infinity
pool, with water constantly overflowing. Effervescent, champagne-like
bubbles provide hydrotherapy and highlighted at the show was the integral
chromatherapy feature. This allows a full spectrum of colour to wash over
the bather in a continuous cycle which can be stopped at the touch of
a button to select the colour that best suits the mood.
Escale was also a major feature at the show. This contemporary suite and
linked furniture range was inspired by Japanese ceramic tableware design
and the form of a sail in the wind. The range features a freestanding
bath, six basin options of pedestal, semi-pedestal, vanity, vanity top,
vessel and handwash basin, plus close coupled and wall hung WC suites
and bidets.
Kohler also launched semi-recessed basins and BTW WCs in Presqu'ile, Devonshire
and Patio to integrate with the new fitted furniture range.

Previews New Deep Blue Ocean Range Plus New Geometric Bath Panels

has introduced Deep Blue Ocean, a new range of deeper whirlpool and spa
baths designed to give a more satisfying massage. The range includes corner,
offset and rectangular baths and includes models for the smaller bathroom
where the greater depth of Deep Blue Ocean will provide a superb massage.
Each deep Blue Ocean bath model will be available in the same choice of
nine dedicated whirlpools and spas that have made the Bronte range successful.
For later this year, Bronte is developing a new hydromassage action that
will be exclusive to Deep Blue Ocean, adding extra value to these massage
baths.
In addition, these acrylic hydromassage baths will be finished in Bluestone,
the triple thickness Bronte reinforcing system for extra rigidity, plus
the Bronte heavy duty bath frame with the massage pump, pipework and control
system already fitted at the works for easy installation in the home.
The company says that the new Deep Blue Ocean bath tubs add a new elegance
to the bathroom, combining the pleasure of superb quality with outstanding
massage for a deeper and more satisfying bathing experience.
Nine different baths, from the 1700 x 700mm Navy model up to the two person
1900 x 950mm Jacinto plus offset shower and corner baths, cover the market.
Every bath in the range - from the smallest to the largest - can be ordered
with any one of three different control systems, comprising Original manual,
Vogue electronic with pulsing massage and the Viva full electronic specification
with five preset massage programs, built in radio, temperature read out

Bathroom Furniture from Dolomite
Bathroom
furniture has seen a huge growth in demand from British consumers over
the past few years. Bathroom manufacturer Dolomite
has introduced the Ascento range of freestanding Wash Stands and Wash

Space Saving Introductions
The Niagara bathroom collection has an extended Ratio space saving bathroom
offer:‘This successful new concept in space saving sanitaryware and
furniture is set to take another massive leap forward in space saving
bathroom design. The ‘Under Bath Storage Unit’ is a unique concept
and a first for Niagara.’ says the company.
Sanitaryware
Niagara is expanding its range of sanitaryware to include a new suite,
contemporary wall hung WC pan and semi pedestal for the first time and
a contemporary basin to suit the new furniture range.
Satra is a modern suite incorporating a blend of elegant curves
and clean lines. The range, available in white, comprises a 50 and 60cm
basin, pedestal, small and large semi pedestal, close-coupled WC pan and
top flush cistern (4 or 6 litre flush).
Ajanta, a successful range of sanitaryware within the Niagara collection,
has introduced a semi pedestal and wall mounted WC pan to the range. This
is the first time a wall-mounted pan and semi pedestal has been included
in the Niagara product offer.
Mica is a shallow basin that blends seamlessly into the counter
top. Available in white, it is a sizeable 700mm x 400mm and is ideal to
complement Cherry and Gloss white furniture and wall mounted brassware
to complete a contemporary bathroom style.
Shower
Enclosures
There are a number of additions in this product group.
Luxury Curved Glass Walk In. The second generation of Walk-In enclosures
has been introduced into the Niagara collection. This 1400mm x 900mm luxury
curved glass Walk-In offers a larger showering area 800mm x 800mm in size
plus drying area. It pushes curved glass technology to its limit and the
new model is available in a matt silver finish profile with chrome cappings.
Walk In Light Wood Finish. Following the successful launch of the
first Walk-In enclosure to the Niagara product range, an additional light
wood effect frame finish has been included in the offer. This new framed
finish is available in 1400mm x 900mm and 1200mm x 900mm.
New Frame Finish. Niagara has introduced a new polished silver
finish option for a selection of twelve existing framed shower enclosure
models. This frame finish follows focused research on consumer likes and
preferences.
Baths
As the largest manufacturer of acrylic baths in the UK no Niagara launch
would be complete without updated models. A marked move in this area is
that the baths are being launched independently of the suite allowing
the now more discerning consumers to select from a choice of styles to
suit their bathing preferences.
Pico bath (1700 x 700mm) has been designed with clean simple lines
and with an extra deep bathing luxury of 420mm. Pico is designed for comfort
and full immersion whilst retaining a cutting edge style. It is also available
with a 6-jet whirlpool option for complete luxury.
Sanelle is a shower bath 1700mm x 700mm but extending to 810mm
at its widest point to allow for a comfortable over bath showering area.
Sanelle, available in white and pergamon colour options, combines the
function of a luxuriously deep bath (420mm), with whirlpool option and
shower enclosure. The shower and pivot door allows complete enclosure
whilst showering.
Suriya is an offset shower bath 1550mm x 900mm wide with extra
deep bathing at 420mm. Available in white or pergamon this bath is available
with an overbath screen and pivot door providing a completely enclosed
showering area. And is available in a 6-jet whirlpool bath option.
Overbath Screens
Over bath screens are increasingly popular in the UK market where space
is at a premium and showering above the bath is commonplace. Niagara introduces
Cristos Overbath Screen, which fits on to any flat topped bath and has
a water tight seal to protect the floor from water splashing. Cristos
shelf system houses a valuable and attractive storage shelf system, if
required. This new screen comes with clear glass, chrome finish and is
available with 3 glass shelves complete with gallery rails, integral towel
rail and robe hook.
Brassware
Two new brassware ranges have been added to make a total of seven for
the Niagara collection. The two new ranges offer both high and low pressure
compatibility. Utah is a monobloc tap offer with interchangeable
tap heads, offering a chrome lever, chrome/satin mix handle and chrome/gold
mix tap head options. The range includes bath and basin pillar taps, bath
filler, a bath shower mixer and a basin monobloc. Pixel introduces
a cross head in to a contemporary tap design. The range includes bath
and basin pillar taps, bath filler, bath shower mixer, basin monobloc
mixer with swivel spout, 3 tap hole basin mixer, 3 tap hole bath and basin
mixer and a 3 tap hole wall mounted basin mixer.
Furniture
Contemporary Cherry. Following on from the success of the European
Dark Oak range, Niagara has launched a modular furniture range in a luxurious
cherry finish. The range comprises a low double base unit 640mm x 515mm,
a triple base unit 960mm x 660mm, a mirror wall unit, a 3/4 tower base
unit and a 320mm mobile unit complete with castors. Whilst the current
worktop range complements and gives colour choice to Contemporary Cherry,
a new 970mm worktop has also been introduced in slate and gloss white
to suit the new triple unit.
Contemporary Gloss. This new modular gloss range is available in
clean Gloss White and Gloss Blue door finishes with new finish carcass
in Gloss White. The range comprises just five units, a low double base
unit, triple base unit, a 3/4 tower unit, a tall tower unit and a single
wall cabinet.
