Shades
has introduced a slimline basin to its space-saving 500mm collection that
the company says ‘may be small in size but it has big ideas!’
Space-saving
basins are increasingly popular as we battle to make the most of today's
small bathrooms but, while there are plenty of models on the market, they
can be so small that they are actually unfit for purpose. Often shallow
or difficult to access, they are OK for occasional cloakroom use but not
especially effective in a bathroom or en-suite setting.
Enter Shades' new 430mm-wide basin, which has a specially designed bowl
that's deep enough to wash properly and a 375mm projection that allows

Unveils Latest Finishes

classic golden oak effect and a burgundy gloss foil finish are the latest

Luxury bathroom manufacturer and retailer, Drummonds, has launched a new range of marble vanity basins to complement its existing portfolio. The basins will bring a touch of class to any bathroom and come in single or double basin arrangements.

guidelines, published in the Defra 'Water Efficiency in New Homes' publication,
are a clear indication that the nation cannot continue to use, and worse
- to waste, water at our present levels.
So
Impulse Bathrooms has introduced its
Tribune Suite with water saving 4.5/3 litre dual flush operation. WRC
tested, WRAS approved, to British Standard and Defra listed as a water
saving appliance, the Tribune WC has been designed to replace the 7.5
litre or even 9 litre flush WC's in refurbishments and to appeal to house
builders and developers as a benefit for potential homeowners especially
where water supply is metered.
'We all recognise the need to save water after the water shortages we
have experienced in recent years. But are we all doing something about

New Washbasins

The
Plunge-Effect
Drummonds
has created a plunger waste system to add the finishing touch to the most
elegant of bathrooms. The classic plunger incorporates the functions of
a plug and overflow in one single unit.
