Utopia Updates Website

Utopia has updated its website - following the launch of the YOU modular range of bathroom furniture. When visitors log on to the site, they will initially go to the new home page and from there can opt either to go to the fitted furniture area or the new modular furniture area.

Designed to be welcoming and easy to navigate, the site contains detailed product information and images, along with simple instructions on how to request brochures and samples.

Liz Green, marketing director, explains the strategy behind the new website, ‘With our new modular range proving very popular with consumers, it was logical to split the site into two distinct areas. We have focused on inspirational imagery and clear, concise information presented in an accessible format. Although it's important for us to get across important information, such as the difference between Gelcast and ceramic washbasins, we also wanted to keep copy to a minimum. Our new format makes it simple and straightforward for visitors to access exactly what they want quickly and easily, whether they are just browsing or whether they are looking for specific information.’

There are five self-explanatory headings to choose from. The first, 'The Collection', is a series of images highlighting the various finishes and the ways in which they can be combined. The next two headings - Gelcast Basins and Ceramic Washbasins - explain the differences and principal benefits of these two types of sanitaryware. A fourth category - The Range - contains detailed product information, including features, benefits and sizes, while the final 'Enquiries' section includes contact details, brochure and sample requests and downloadable price lists.
