New Zeta sink from Carron Phoenix aims at Capturing the Mid Market

Carron Phoenix says that the new Zeta range has all the right credentials for the perfect mid-market sink: quality; versatile bowl sizes; modern, workable shapes and value for money.

Says Neil Clark, sales & marketing manager at Carron Phoenix:
‘We have introduced Zeta to strategically hit the mid market with a very strong product / price proposition. Starting at just £139 for a single bowl and supported by a lifetime guarantee, Zeta is precision manufacturing at its very best.’

Zeta comes in four models - a choice of two single bowls; a one and half bowl and a double bowl. The linear, square shaped bowls give Zeta a modern design feel that makes it versatile for today's kitchen styles. Zeta has an easy simplicity that will appeal to a customer looking for the combination of modern design and value for money. Zeta has large, 180mm deep bowls, a generously proportioned and deeply recessed drainer, plus a full range of accessories including stainless steel basket, strainer bowl and wooden chopping board. There is also a choice of two stainless steel finishes: polished or textured linen.

Another modern style plus for Zeta is the low profile perimeter of the sink design. This means that the sink sits just 4mm off the worksurface, in keeping with the new generation of modern sinks within the Carron Phoenix portfolio. It gives a crisp, almost seamless appearance between the sink and worksurface normally only achieved with an undermount or flushmount sink. Yet Zeta, as an inset sink, is installed with a single cut-out reducing both time and installation costs.

Carron Phoenix Introduces some Modern Classics in Ceramic

Recognising how well the nostalgic quality of ceramic works in today's kitchen design, Carron Phoenix has launched three new modern classics titled the Classic Round, the Classic Rectangular and the Classic Square.

Here, the bowl shapes have been cast with tighter radii giving crisper corners and an altogether more modern feel. The sinks also have the versatility to be undermounted or inset thanks to their smooth, flat rim. They can easily be installed with the full range of worksurface materials of granite, timber, solid surfacing and laminate.

The Classics have been introduced to give the customer a more rounded product offer to meet current design trends in the home.

Carron's popular ceramic offer already includes traditional Belfast sinks, as well as the inset models of Shonelle and Solaris. All products are cast in the traditional method of clay fired at high temperature and hand finished to achieve the lustrous, white glaze that gives ceramic its tactile appeal as well as hardwearing and easy maintenance properties.

Says Neil Clark, sales & marketing manager at Carron Phoenix:
‘The timeless quality of ceramic works excellently with contemporary styling. Our three new models really open up the design potential for retailers to work with ceramic as they effortlessly cross the design boundaries between traditional and modern.’

Featured is the Classic Rectangular which has a bowl size of 525 x 390 x 227mm and fits into a 600mm cabinet.

The Curve Centre at PWS

There was a time when curves in the kitchen came with a hefty bespoke price tag but PWS has introduced a selection of standard curved doors and accessories across its key timber door ranges bringing contoured units firmly into the kitchen arena.

Curves are playing an important role in kitchen design as consumers opt to soften the whole look of the room and create a real sense of space. PWS has introduced curves into its five ranges in the Broadoak door family, three Eden options and the highly popular Croft Oak range, joining newcomer Estro Walnut and the Avant collection. To complement the new curved doors, each range also offers a selection of contoured timber accessories, such as curved cornice, lighting pelmet and plinth.

Comments Andrew Langford, Marketing Manager at PWS, 'Typically straight lines have a tendency to dominate kitchen schemes, whereas simply mixing curves into the equation creates a softer, smoother blend that not only adds warmth but a lot of character too. Softening the lines facilitates movement around freestanding pieces and is also family-friendly with no sharp corners.'

View the new curved kitchen options from PWS at http://www.pws.co.uk with a link to order on PWS' e-commerce solution Tradezone, or alternatively telephone PWS Customer Services on 01325 505555.
