Hoover Built-in interactive CD
Now
available FOC is the interactive CD animated guide to the Hoover
Built-in range of appliances. According to Marketing Manager Heather England,
on one handy disk the fact-file assists retailers to demonstrate to their
customers the benefits of each appliance and provide them with all product
information required.
The CD is easily navigated with product icons on every page so you
can move freely from one appliance to another, says Heather. You
can home in on any specific product in detail; images can be enlarged,
all colour options can be displayed on screen at the same time and 3D
dimensions are given.'
Video footage of the products actually being used combined with a lifestyle
voice-over highlights the specific features of individual appliances to
help end-users fully understand how each product works.
Further assisting retailers, the PDF files of product specifications can
be printed out or emailed direct from the disk. In addition, the high
resolution images are suitable for printing purposes for retailers to
use in their own promotional material.

Moves into Appliances Arena with Space Aid 2
The
publication by Häfele of the
second edition of its Space Aid for Kitchens catalogue marks a move by
the furniture fittings, components and accessories specialist into kitchen
appliances for the first time.
Space Aid 2 is, in time honoured Häfele
tradition, twice the size of the first publication that was launched early
in 2004. But that's where links with tradition end.
Because for the first time in the company's 40 year history in the UK,
Häfele
has stepped into the kitchen appliances sector with a wide range of products.
In addition to single and double ovens, range cookers and gas and electric
hobs, Hafele is also now offering fridges, freezers and dishwashers.
In support of its range of front rank appliances, Häfele
is also now stocking a selection of currently fashionable kitchen equipment
at the luxury end of the sector. These include wine coolers, drinks chillers
and ice makers as well as items that have been offered in the recent past

'When the products of these manufacturers move to the retail arena the
demand, whether at factory shop or high street design studio level, inevitably
focuses on customer sales generative products and accessories. And when
retailers ask manufacturers: 'where can we get the best ?' Häfele
is always one of the names that comes up - hence our involvement,' he
says.
And when the sales team at Häfele
were at the planning stage, they also decided that they would try one
or two other ideas that move the Rugby company beyond even the appliance
category and into the 'must have' kitchen sales accessories field: CD
and DVD players, drop down TV/radios and even a CCTV security system.
