VitrA
Launches Another World Brochure
VitrA
has launched a new consumer brochure to support its growing portfolio
of sanitaryware, furniture, tiles, brassware and accessories, and to help
retailers increase sales.
'Another World' utilises photography to illustrate VitrA's new 'Bathroom
Culture' - a concept that emphasises the need for bathrooms to be not
only a practical space, but also one that aids the bather's desire to
escape from everyday life into another world.
A combination of new and existing collections are presented over 163 pages
within the high quality, perfect bound brochure that features VitrA's
distinctive and Turkish Hammam influenced identity. The company says that
Hammam remains one of the most complete bathroom concepts of all time
- and VitrA focuses on this totality to introduce the bathroom culture
concept.
The new ranges and products featured in the Another World brochure are
Piu Due, Softcube and Espace, three top end ranges that reflect VitrA's
bathroom culture.
The new Another World brochure contains new lifestyle photography and
creative copy that sets the scene for each VitrA range as well as cut-out
images of every product so as to provide more detailed technical information.
Order numbers and prices are clearly stated to make ordering a smooth
process for both consumers and retailers.

finish and optional accessories located alongside the image.
John Swain, product manager for Franke UK, commented:

SpaceAid
for Kitchens and now Bathrooms - with Häfele
Just
as the second edition of Häfele's
SpaceAid catalogue for studios moved to kitchen appliances for the first
time, SpaceAid 3 has gone into the bathroom.
Says
sales director Ray Fisher: bathrooms have really come of age in
the recent past and while there are many out there in the baths and showers
arena, we see our role more in the finishing department.
The new Häfele bathroom collection in SpaceAid 3 rationalises some
storage solutions from kitchens and bedrooms and adapts them for use in
a new environment. Pull-out wire storage systems have been reworked to
contain toiletries and adapted for vanity cabinet use under hand basins
and semi-display wire-based, pole mounted solutions adapt well in bright,
shiny chrome for use in a bathroom environment.
Pole systems themselves have also been adapted from floor-to-ceiling fixings
to wall mounted alternatives with all the same mobility advantages but
operating through 180º rather than 360º. These are designed for walls
above wash hand basins to carry mirrors, shelves and toiletries and for
walls by toilet pedestals for loo rolls, cleaning brushes and soap holders.
And, of course, dedicated loo roll holders, both singles and doubles,
tissue boxes, soap dishes and liquid soap dispensers are all ultra smart
and easy to clean in chrome and plastic. And from Häfele's burgeoning
architectural ironmongery range comes sanitary fittings for use by the
disabled both in domestic and public access facilities - the latter including
appropriate signage.
What started life as SpaceAid for kitchens hasn't abandoned its original
principles - the range of appliances, fittings and accessories for kitchens
has also continued to develop. The Gorenje presence has grown with new
freezers and fridges and the collection of range cookers from Rangemaster
has also been extended with several new models together with cookware
at all levels in stainless steel and Teflon.
A new portfolio of height-adjustable cupboards and worktops for the disabled
makes its debut - even kitchen tables are now height-adjustable. And Waterstation,
a new approach to extending and enabling kitchen work space, is also launched.

Homag
Launches Newsletter
Homag
U.K.
has launched a newsletter for the UK which the company intends to follow
up with regular issues.
The initial edition of the publication is a full colour, 8-page news letter
designed, in the case of this first issue, as an overall introduction
to the products and services of the Homag Group internationally and what
it means for UK and Irish customers to have a key local supplier and partner
of the stature of Homag U.K.
In his introductory message, MD Paul Cooper says: Because of its
size and stature, the Homag Group is often perceived as being only relevant
to larger players in the industry. Not so. Many of our loyal customers
have started out as small enterprises and grown successfully with the
Homag partnership standing by them. So it is today.
Especially as we see a growing trend of small, niche and specialist businesses
able to tap into exactly the same level of technology, service and advice
as the volume and industrial users of Homag equipment.
The first issue of Homag News also details the advanced aftersales and
training benefits offered and details the product range descriptions from
all Homag Group member companies as well as Homag U.K.'s special agencies,
Martin, Joos and Magi-Cut software. Further details include special machine
offers from stock, the division structure between the industrial and craftsman
machine groups as well as reminders on finance opportunities, hotline
numbers and event dates.

All
you need is Practive
'All
you need is Practive is the title of an overview brochure
from the Homag Group detailing its
comprehensive range of machinery and systems designed to give a complete
and flexible production solution to the full range of small to medium
sized joinery shops and furniture workshops.
Practive
is the umbrella term covering the appropriate machines from the following
Homag Group companies and areas of technology:
Panel dividing from Holzma; edging technology from Brandt; drilling and
CNC processing systems from Weeke; woodworking systems from Homag; sanding
technology from Bütfering; laminating systems from Friz; automation
and assembly systems from Ligmatech.
The designated machines and systems for the Practive grouping from
each of these specialist companies benefits from the exact same degree
of precise level of engineering and infrastructure technology as any of
the front end and cutting edge industrial technology that has made the
Homag Group the world leader in its field. says the company.
This means that at no matter how small or what level a woodworking or
panel business is at, tapping into the Practive concept ensures an ongoing
and seamless partnership and growth path as the company expands.
For example a small kitchen furniture workshop can set up the classic
production cell situation at minimum investment cost and with the flexibility
that will immediately enable the company to gain wide market penetration.
This would be a compact Holzma beam saw with bar code label printing and
operating parameter-based Magi-Cut software, a single-sided Brandt edgebander
capable of applying up to 3mm PVC and in-line contour trimming, a compact
Weeke CNC machining centre with barcode scanning, and a Ligmatech carcase
cramp. Such an operation could be handled by two men and produce a significant
volume of kitchen units to order per week.
The scenario could be extended in any direction or discipline for
instance with a Bütfering widebelt sander and Friz membrane press
for in-house door production.
Similar, flexible scenarios apply to the joinery and specialist joinery
sectors.
The important consideration is that all the machines in the Practive family
share components, technologies, inter-faces and service and back-up solutions.
Expanding capacity by moving onto a larger machine as and when required
becomes a straightforward operation with minimum interruption to production
and workforce even at an operator training level.
Literature on the Practive concept is freely available from Homag U.K.
