Carron Phoenix and Westag agree exclusive deal
Recognising the strong growth opportunities for undermount sinks in solid surface worktops, Carron Phoenix has agreed an exclusive deal with Westag & Getalit AG.
Westag complements Carron's existing network of distributors and will offer nationwide availability on Carron's complete range of undermount sinks pre-fabricated and supplied in Westag's solid surface module worktops.
Westag's UK head office is based in Watford, while its distribution centre is located in Doncaster.
Westag manufactures the Getacore range of 3mm and 10mm solid surfacing which offers three different surface finishes and a choice of over 40 pre-fabricated worksurface modules for installation on site.
Now enhancing its product offer further, Westag can supply any of Carron's 25 stainless steel, granite and ceramic undermount sink models, in combination with any design and any module for ultimate design flexibility. The modules are manufactured in Germany with a lead time from order, delivered direct to site, of between 10 -14 days.
"Solid surfacing is a key growth area for kitchen worksurfaces, particularly in the mid market where pre-fabricated and easy installation products are strongly emerging and favoured by retailers," Says Neil Clark, sales & marketing director at Carron Phoenix.
