Burbidge hosts hand-crafted 'Premium Partner' event

Renowned kitchen manufacturer, Burbidge, enjoyed high success at its recently-held annual Premium Partner retailer day.

To commence proceedings, Burbidge Premium Partners were given an exclusive glimpse of Burbidge's new product prototypes, along with an overview of the newly-launched 'The Bathroom Furniture Co.' and a tour of the showroom.

Then it was time to let the games begin as Burbidge's 50-strong national network of Premium Partners were treated to an afternoon of clay-pigeon shooting in a bid to get the competitive juices flowing.

This was followed by a lavish dinner ceremony at the Staverton Park hotel where Burbidge launched its inaugural Premium Partner retailer awards. Taking home trophies on the night were World of Kitchens for 'Best Showroom in the South', Lakeland Kitchens for 'Best Showroom in the North', First Class Kitchens for 'Best Sales Performance', KBA Design for the silver 'Best Design' and, finally, Burnhill Kitchens for the gold 'Best Design' award category.

"Following the success of last year's Premium Partner day, we wanted to do something a bit different this year and create an event that was more informal and would get everyone involved," explains the company's managing director, Ben Burbidge.

"The shooting was a particular highlight, enabling everyone to get to know each other and have some fun. Equally, the awards ceremony proved a great success, providing an excellent means for us to give back to our valued retailers - and recognise those that have gone the extra mile in terms of their product offer and servicing.

"It was a fantastic event and we'd like to thank all of our Premium Partners for coming along- we're already thinking up plans for next year."

Burbidge is the longest established, leading UK kitchen frontals and accessories manufacturer. The company's products and kitchen collection can be viewed in realistic room sets at its showroom in Coventry.
