Gorenje promotes national sales manager

Gorenje has promoted its national sales manager, Stuart Benson, to the role of sales director. Stuart boasts more than 25 years' experience within the appliance & kitchen industry, and joined the company in early 2013 as national sales manager for the UK & Ireland.

Jernej Hren, managing director for Gorenje UK, comments: "I was delighted to be able to offer Stuart the promotion to sales director. Since joining, he has been integral in taking the sales team forward and has been successful in raising Gorenje's profile across the UK."

Stuart adds: "As a company Gorenje is constantly developing innovative new products and design lines to meet the ever-changing needs of the consumer, which makes my role both fast-paced and exciting. I am thrilled with my promotion and looking forward to growing the business further."

2015 has seen the company make some exciting announcements including the launch of a new generation of built-in cooking appliances, and the availability of its popular Retro collection via John Lewis' online storefront. Most recently, Gorenje unveiled a new design line with internationally acclaimed designer Philippe Starck, which will be available in the UK later this year.
