LDL raises over £900 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Enthusiastic staff at LDL Components in Bath staged their own event last Friday as part of the World's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Every single member of staff without exception brought in home-baked goodies and invited their family and friends as well as personnel from neighbouring local businesses based at Bath Business Park.

In addition to the cake sales, there was also a raffle and an opportunity to buy hugely discounted ex-display products from the showroom. The grand total, including generous donations, was £925.25.

LDL's distribution centre in Glossop also held its own cake sale at the same time, raising valuable funds for the local branch of Macmillan.

"It was huge fun and a lovely way to 'christen' our new offices," says managing director Matthew Lord. "On a more serious note, everyone knows someone whose life is touched by cancer and so we were delighted to be involved."
