Hoover appoints Glyn Martin as account director

Hoover has added to its freestanding division for the second time in six months, with the appointment of Glyn Martin as account director - major domestic appliances. Glyn's appointment swiftly follows the addition of Garry Smith as laundry product manager, which was announced earlier this year.

Glyn brings over 20 years' experience to the role, having worked in sales & marketing roles in multiple sectors, most recently working across the grocery and mass merchant channels. At Hoover he will be working on a number of key retail accounts, including Argos.

"Hoover has a clear vision of where it wants to be in the next few years, so this is a very exciting time to come on board," he says. "The recent launch of the Hoover Wizard Wi-Fi range exceeded consumer and market expectations, and we have many more exciting innovations to reveal this year which I believe will continue to keep us at the forefront of the market."
