RAK unveils new tiles and bathroom designs at KBB 2016

We were shown around RAK Ceramics' 10m x 20m stand by Angela Fitzhugh of AFPR, who easily managed to answer our many questions about the impressive line-up of products as well as emerging trends - one of which is the growing desire for householders to incorporate bathrooms into the tiniest of spaces; something the company caters for very well with its compact ranges and corner WCs. But as our pictures show, there are stunning options for those with larger spaces to fill...

RAK Ceramics' impressive KBB line-up included five new tile ranges featured alongside 12 bathroom collections. The stand incorporated a series of stunning roomsets - including Italian-styled Harmony and affordable, design-led Origin 62 showing at KBB for the first time - and RAK's extensive Resort Collection, which is now available to all retailers.

Show launches included RAK's new Cronto, Coheba, Metropol, Newport and Zig Zago Tile Collections, which collectively bring 55 new designs to RAK's range. Decorative Cronto is an encaustic-styled tile in a mix of plain and patterned designs, whilst new Coheba includes large format stone-effects and a mixed tone mosaic. Metropol provides natural grey and beige effects, with matching 3D decors, whilst Newport includes a selection of square and rectangular 'urban-look' tiles.

The fifth new collection, Zig Zago 'turned heads' at KBB and features a stunning zig-zag pattern for walls. It includes a range of muted colour tones and a highly decorative mixed-tone tile in beige/golden and blue/grey schemes.

All of the new designs feature in RAK's new Tile Collection brochure, which was also launched at the show.

Established in 1991, RAK Ceramics boasts a global production output of ceramic and porcelain tiles, of 117 million sq.m per annum. Its product portfolio also includes ceramic sinks, sanitary ware, brassware and acrylic baths, with products currently exported to more than 160 countries. Recently the company has touched an incredible milestone of one billion square meters of tiles supplied worldwide.
