Liebherr hails the success of its Blu Performance launch

In early March, Liebherr introduced its groundbreaking Blu Performance Premium range of cooling appliances to the UK market with an exciting launch at the remarkable Mercedes World in Brooklands, Weybridge in Surrey.

Liebherr presented its latest pioneering developments in refrigeration technology to almost 200 attending kitchen retailers, electrical retailers and distributors with a series of presentations and an opportunity to 'get up close and personal' with a vast array of models from within this new Blu Performance category. Attendees also enjoyed lunch and a guided tour around the superb Mercedes World facility.

Always setting a benchmark for the industry, Liebherr's latest strides in energy efficiency sees it offering what are believed to be the highest ratings available with A+++, and even better A+++/-20%1.

Liebherr has been able to achieve such incredible leaps forward in efficiency thanks to a complete rethinking of the appliance's design and technology. The Blu Performance refrigerator's compressor and condenser have been removed from the back of the appliance, and is now compactly integrated into the base of the appliance. This pioneering development provides a much larger internal capacity for storing food, and also ensures the appliance is particularly quiet in operation.

Speaking on behalf of Liebherr, UK divisional manager, Tim Hutchinson said: "The Blu Performance launch event was extremely successful with around 200 of our retail customers attending. The feedback from them and general consensus was really positive and this gives us great encouragement that the market will embrace these this fabulous new generation of cooling appliances. The Mercedes World venue was a great choice for the launch as the brand synergy was extremely complimentary."
