Children's charity chooses Max-Top surfaces

* Maxtop3.jpgModular quartz worktops from kitchen surface specialist Max-Top Quartz have been selected for children's charity Ronald McDonald House in Glasgow.

Max-Top Quartz surfaces have been installed throughout the facilities, which provide 'home from home' accommodation for families of children in the adjacent Royal Hospital for Children.

Retailer Alexander Macbeth in Johnstone managed the project and selected the White Jasmine worktop for the communal kitchen area, laundry room, tea room and staff bathroom.

Stephen Moss, managing director of Max-Top comments: "We are thrilled that our products have been installed in such a worthwhile facility. As our surfaces are so easy-to-install, they are ideal for projects such as this, where timescales are tight but a high-quality quartz finish is required."

Ruth Milligan, House Manager of Ronald McDonald House Glasgow, adds: "Our role is to provide home away from home accommodation, enabling families to stay together whilst their child is in hospital. It's therefore imperative that the look and feel of our facilities are comfortable and homely, and this work surface has certainly helped us to create a great finish."

Karin Jackson, co-owner of Glasgow retailer Alexander Macbeth comments: "As a charity, the team at Ronald McDonald needed a cost-effective product that didn't compromise on quality or style, so Max-Top Quartz was the obvious choice for the project!

"We are delighted with the finish and thanks to the durability of the work surface, we are confident it will stay looking fantastic for many years to come."

New to the UK market in 2014, Max-Top Quartz offers the beauty and strength of solid quartz, without any of the drawbacks of a traditional solid stone surface and it has the advantage of a deeper 40mm profile. Every surface is edged with 8mm solid quartz to give a perfectly uninterrupted look.

The patented interior structure is a non-wood based honeycomb that offers 100% moisture protection.

These pre-finished worktops offer undeniable strength and surprising lightness - meaning that installers and consumers get maximum benefits with minimum fuss.

Design options are further enhanced by a choice of 10 natural decors, so there's a finish ideal for any kitchen.
