GDHA introduces Flex+ induction hobs

* GDHA1.jpgPopular UK cooking appliance manufacturer, Glen Dimplex Home Appliances (GDHA), has launched its first flexible induction hobs across its three cooking brands - Stoves, Belling and New World - including one of the most powerful induction hobs on the market.

Aimed at introducing flexible induction to consumers at all price points and to suit all cooking styles and life stages, the new products offer clear trade-up opportunities for retailers between the New World, Belling and Stoves brands.

The five new Flex+ products all feature ten power settings, digital touch controls and timers, plus a host of features including anti overheat detection, heat booster, automatic pan detection and child locks.

* GDHA2.jpgThe 60cm New World IHF60T has up to four Flex+ zones, with two bridgeable areas and power levels of up to 1.85kW. It offers overheat and automatic pan detection, as well as the capacity to time each zone.

The Belling products - the 60cm IHF64T and the 90cm IHF90 - are a step up from New World in terms of specification, offering enhanced power levels and a larger cooking area. The 60cm model has four Flex+ zones with two very large bridgeable areas, allowing consumers the freedom to cook with a variety of pan shapes and sizes.

* GDHA3.jpgFor busy households who require extra space, the 90cm Belling model has up to five Flex+ zones, with power levels of up to 3.7kW, including two sizeable bridging areas and a larger zone in the middle. It also features digital touch slider controls and the option of three pre-set temperatures.

Appealing to the premium audience, Stoves Flex+ models - the 60cm SIHF604T and the 90cm SIHF906T - both use a technologically advanced Octa induction system to offer optimum coverage and flexibility, with two or three huge bridgeable areas that are amongst the most powerful on the market, with power levels up to 3.7KW.

Offering a range of professional features including heat boost, 10 power settings, independent digital touch slider controls and timers for each zone the Stoves products are expected to compete comfortably at the top end of the market.

Jordan Radcliffe, product manager for built-in at GDHA, says: "These new products allow us to meet demand for intelligent products, packed full of features, across all price points and for consumers with different cooking requirements.

"The Stoves Flex+ models in particular are a stand out product, offering a very high specification with controls that are intuitive, and are absolutely amongst the most powerful on the market. We are expecting significant demand across the board for these Made in Britain products as they are well made and keenly priced, offering great revenue and trade-up opportunities for retailers."
