Rearo promotes internally for new domestic sales team

Interior manufacturer and supplier Rearo, headquartered in Glasgow, has promoted Kevin Niccol (pictured) to sales manager of its new domestic product sales team.

Kevin has worked at Rearo for 11 years in the sales team, and was involved in the company's recent restructuring. His previous role was UK branch sales manager, overseeing the regional performance of Rearo's seven showrooms.

Kevin will manage the entire sale and delivery of products to Rearo's domestic customers, ranging from householders to builders' merchants, and will head up a team of 50. He will also oversee pricing of all of Rearo's domestic ranges, including its waterproof bathroom panel range, Selkie, and its various kitchen and bathroom worktop ranges.

Graham Mercer, managing director of Rearo, says of the appointment: "Rearo is entering a period of significant growth, with several high value contract wins and changes to our business model.

"Kevin's product knowledge and operations experience, as well as his commitment to providing the very best customer service, made him the obvious choice for this new role."

Kevin will be based at Rearo's headquarters and manufacturing centre in Govan, Glasgow. He will travel regularly throughout the UK meeting customers and attending Rearo's regional showrooms across Scotland, the north east of England and Wales.

Rearo recently announced a £1 million UK distribution deal with Meyer Timber, and the launch of its first flooring range, Clixeal.
