'Dependable Design' with new OptiGlass Hobs by V-ZUG

* Dependable-Design.jpgV-ZUG has introduced a new collection of award-winning OptiGlass Hobs. Recently crowned 'Best of Best' at the Iconic Awards Interior Innovation 2017, the new OptiGlass feature is breaking the mould in terms of glass application in the modern kitchen.

Typically, the most used appliance in the home, a hob is operated almost every day in its lifetime along with (hob allowing!) providing a practical place to chop vegetables, unload shopping and knead dough.

Once soiled, it is common practice to clean away any surface dirt with a non-abrasive sponge; however, this can lead to unattractive marks and accidental scratches.

Glass ceramic hobs that feature OptiGlass have an additional and extremely hard Schott Ceran Miradur coating which makes them exceptionally robust to prevent the risk of damage from routine wear and tear and general upkeep.

V-ZUG's new OptiGlass hobs are extremely durable with a strength that is virtually the same as the world's strongest mineral, diamond. In fact, the highly robust coating across these new hobs makes it almost impossible to scratch: ideal for a home appliance that is subject to everyday use.

The new OptiGlass coating comes with a rating of 9.5 on the Mohs scale (relative hardness scale), and with diamond rated 10, it's no surprise these innovative hobs offer one of the most durable surfaces to cook and even prepare on!

OptiGlass is also beautifully elegant too thanks to its mirrored glass facade which evokes a timeless high quality that can blend in, or become a feature to a central island or work top.
