Porcel-Thin wins Business Innovator Award

Less than half the weight and thickness (4.8mm-5.5mm) of conventional porcelain tiles (13mm), Porcel-Thin tiles are so thin they can be applied directly over existing tiles, reducing the time and costs of removal and making good.
The reduced weight (less than half that of conventional porcelain tiles) enables extra-large format (900x900mm, 1200x600mm, 1800x900mm and 2400x1200mm) tiles to be produced, which can be handled by one person, allowing less labour, faster coverage and fewer grout lines.
Porcel-Thin tiles are more environmentally-friendly, since less material/energy is used in production and they are easy to cut using conventional tiling tools. Their ultra-low water absorption of below 0.5% is also significantly better than the industry standard of 2-3%.
Stronger than many conventional, full thickness porcelain tiles and ceramic tiles, Porcel-Thin tiles will not warp or bend when installed and will not crack or fade. They are resistant to water, frost, fire and heat damage and less likely to fracture - ideal for cold-weather climates and warm-weather climates alike.
