Lec launches 55 and 60cm Combi Collections - Includes four Total No Frost fridge freezers
Refrigeration specialist Lec has added to its A+ cooling range with six new combi fridge freezer models.
The 60cm collection features three SKUs across two models. The TNF60186 and TNF60187 are both 188cm tall, A+ combis with 40dBA noise rating and 15 hours of power cut safe time and feature Total No Frost technology, which means fans distribute cooler air evenly inside the appliance to prevent the accumulation of ice or frost on the walls or food.
The TNF60186 is a 60:40 split with a 308 litre gross capacity and is available in white, while the TNF60187 is a 50:50 appliance with 284 litres of capacity and is available in both white and silver. Both have special drawers to keep fruit and veg fresher for longer and bottle storage in the door.
The 55cm collection features three models to meet demand in this niche market sector. All the appliances are available in white, are 188cm tall, A+ rated and include LED interior lighting, reversible doors and between ten and 16 hours of power cut safe time.
The TNF55187W is a 60:40 split and features Total No Frost technology and has 278 litres gross capacity. The TF55207W is a Frost Free, 50:50 split appliance with 298 litres of capacity and can freeze 4.5kg of food in 24 hours. It also boasts five freezer drawer compartments.
Finally the TS55187W is a static 50:50 split model which has a 5kg/24 hour freezing capacity.
"Total No Frost products offer so many benefits to consumers, not least removing the need for defrosting the fridge or freezer. And, because there is no condensation in the fridge, food remains fresher with the flavour and nutritional properties being preserved," explains Stuart Netscher, head of category for refrigeration at Glen Dimplex Home Appliances.
"We believe this range of products caters for a wider section of the market, with the 55cm products, in particular, catering to a niche in the market, suiting homes that have less space but want to maximise the fridge freezer capacity they have."
