FIRA Service Technicians expand across Ireland

* FIRA-presenting-certificate.jpgThe Furniture Industry Research Association has announced that it is now able to offer even greater service coverage in Ireland to assist clients in resolving furniture complaints.

Three new technicians from Ireland have now joined FIRA Service Technicians and have been formally trained at FIRA's Stevenage training centre. This means that the service can provide an even better response in both the North and South of Ireland, for retailers and manufacturers alike.

The FIRA Service Technicians service provides technicians specially trained to FIRA's standard to resolve customer complaints regarding furniture products.

The FIRA Service Technician is able to offer an impartial validation of any product complaint; decide whether an onsite repair is appropriate, and offer advice to the customer if no manufacturing fault is found. Technicians inspect all types of furniture including upholstery (both fabric and leather), cabinet, beds and kitchen furniture.

The fast response time of the service ensures a prompt handling of the complaint before a dispute can escalate. Any necessary repairs are usually carried out in the first visit; this ensures the best possible customer satisfaction levels.

Currently there are over 80 highly-skilled FIRA Service Technicians experts across the UK and Ireland, all of whom carry the same equipment, have undertaken the same training, and follow the same procedures. This means that there is consistency of quality, wherever the customer happens to live.

"Service Technicians have been resolving furniture complaints for the industry for around 15 years and provide the only furniture care and repair service that is backed by the integrity and independence of FIRA," says FIRA Service Technicians Manager, John Oliver.

"We work with over 50 leading furniture retailers, manufacturers and suppliers who rely on our independent and impartial expertise to resolve customer complaints. It is fantastic that we now have this additional Service Technicians resource across Ireland since it allows us to provide an even more comprehensive service to better assist furniture retailers, manufacturers and consumers, alike."
