InSinkErator: exciting new launches
InSinkErator showcased a number of exciting new launches, including the 4N1 Touch instant filtered/non-filtered, steaming hot/cold water tap (more later, if I've confused you!), a new Food Waste Disposer that's being added to the Showroom Collection and a new Satin Black Finish steaming hot water tap.
To filter, or not to filter?
The 4N1 Touch, InSinkErator's most technologically advanced taps to date, is a new collection of taps that offer instant, filtered steaming hot water and instant filtered cold water, as well as regular hot and cold water, from the same combined fixture. The range forms part of the InSinkErator Showroom Collection.
Designed to meet the increased consumption of filtered drinking water, the 4N1 Touch provides a stream of filtered cold water for 30 seconds, at the touch of a button. If the user wishes to stop the stream before 30 seconds is up, a second touch of the dedicated button will instantly stop the flow of water. The tap also safely dispenses filtered steaming hot water, thanks to the push-lever safety locking mechanism, which stops the flow of water immediately the lever is released.
Available in three different shapes; the L Shape, the J Shape or the U Shape, to complement a variety of kitchen styles, all three 4N1 Touch shapes are available in traditional finishes of Brushed Steel or Polished Chrome. A stylish, affordable combined fixture; the 4N1 Touch is designed and made in Italy with a solid, premium, low lead brass composition, adding extended reliability.
"Consumers are drinking more and more filtered water and a water filter jug is another item to clutter the kitchen worktop," explained Kevin Carr, UK sales director, InSinkErator. "The new InSinkErator 4N1 Touch enables users to get rid of the kettle and the water filter, while the versatility to switch easily to steaming hot water, and regular hot and cold water, within the same fixture, contributes to countless kitchen tasks too."
The tap, which is ideal for retro-fitting and is supplied complete with an installation kit, comes with a compact water tank of 2.5 litres; the NeoTank takes up little valuable cupboard space and features a digital, adjustable thermostat, enabling users to set the desired temperature of the water between 88 and 98 degrees C.
New food waste disposer - an Evolution
InSinkErator also debuted another addition to its Showroom Collection: the Evolution 150 food waste disposer. Benefiting from a two-stage grind technology that ensures food waste is ground into minute particles, which are then dispatched and simply rinsed away safely down the drain, through the standard plumbing, the InSinkErator Evolution 150 allows food waste to be dealt with sustainably, hygienically and safely, with the further benefits of saving space and improving cleanliness in the kitchen.
This new unit, which comes complete with a deluxe polished chrome stopper cover and new style shell, also benefits from overload protection and an auto-reverse action makes for trouble free operation and an extended lifecycle. The unit is supported with a seven-year parts and labour guarantee for added peace of mind.

Up to 40% quieter than standard models with Evolution Ultra-quiet technology, the unit features a high-torque Dura-Drive induction motor to tackle the most difficult-to-grind foods. An auto-reverse action and overload protection facilitates trouble-free operation and extended product life.
Other features include a deluxe stainless steel sink stopper with polished chrome cover, stainless steel strainer basket and plug, built-in air switch accessory available in black, chrome or brushed steel for added convenience and style, new style shell (finished in black), and Quick Lock mounting assembly for faster, easier installation. A dream in satin black...
InSinkErator has added to its range steaming hot water tap portfolio with the introduction of the Satin Black HC3300 steaming hot water tap, which instantly dispenses steaming hot water, between 88 and 98 degrees C, and ambient cold filtered water. The 360 degree swivel spout makes the tap handy and highly versatile and features an easy-to-use lever control. The HC3300 comes complete with a two year, in-home, limited warranty on the tap, and a two-year parts and labour limited warranty on the tank.
Like the 4N1 Touch, the HC3300 is supplied with the 2.5 litre capacity NeoTank.
