Abacus Bathrooms, Lustrolite and Elements display innovations at KBB 2018

* Lustrolite-lovely.jpgAbacus Bathrooms, renowned for technical prowess in bathroom design and product portfolios, highlighted innovation by showing the build and fitting of individual systems; all guaranteed to result in the perfect bathroom in terms of style and function.

The stand was packed when we arrived and Alex Phillips-Baker, head of operations, told us that it had been like this throughout the show, with visitors keen to see first-hand the company's products and learn from the stand team just why the products have a reputation for being so easy to install.

* Basin-Frame.jpgAn example is the new must-have for all basin and furniture installations, the unique patent-pending Modul Basin Fixing Frame. The Modul Basin Fixing Frame is designed to combine the secure mounting of both a basin and co-ordinating furniture unit in one frame. This product is designed for complete accessibility with a unique concealed serviceable waste trap and hot and cold water isolation valves.

* Infinity-Tray.jpgAnother example of the company's design innovation is the new Infinity Single-Fall wetroom shower tray. Developed to enhance the Elements wetroom range, the Infinity Single-Fall shower tray is thought to be the only product of its kind on the market today where the one-way fall of the tray and drain are fully integrated and waterproof.

This allows for straightforward installation and is provided with a complete installation kit which covers all on-site situations and will ensure your wetroom is secure and finished to the highest standard.

* Mel-likes-lustrolite.jpgThe ever-popular high gloss wall paneling from Lustrolite (pictured below), which can be applied to shower walls, bathrooms and kitchens, was also demonstrated and it comes in a good selection of colours. The fitters we spoke with told us they like Lustrolite because it is so lightweight and thus easy to handle - particularly in tight spaces where heavier products can prove difficult. The paneling is an advantaged multi-layer acrylic sheet that looks just like glass. However, it weighs a quarter less than traditional glass sheets and is 20 times stronger.

Abacus Manufacturing Group is a specialist in market-leading product portfolios for commercial and residential bathrooms with technical expertise at the core of all designs and systems.
