New freestanding cookers from Amica offer many options

Amica UK has launched an impressive new range of 50cm & 60cm freestanding double cavity cookers. With hob choices from solid plate electric to fast induction or traditional gas, there is a style to suit every cook and every budget.

Slip-in freestanding cookers are still a popular choice in the UK market, both as a replacement for an older product and as an alternative to built-in - especially in the buy-to-let market as slip-in reduces installation costs when compared to built-in.

The ovens have a spacious main cavity perfect for cooking family meals and a useful second smaller cavity. Some models feature a storage drawer.

There are all-gas options as well as dual fuel and finishes include all-black and black-and-stainless steel.

All the electric models are A rated. An easy-to-use three button digital programmer makes pre-planning meals simple. The triple glazed glass oven door is reflective so is always safe to touch.

"This is a really comprehensive range of products," comments Amica marketing manager Steve Corbett. "The choice runs from simple budget priced models to top of the range induction.
