Character building...
Working with the period features of this Grade II listed building, senior designer Chris Payne from Ripples Bristol has created a welcoming guest bathroom full of modern charm.
In the Arts & Crafts property, Chris was tasked with transforming a dark, dated guest bathroom into something fresh and welcoming for family and friends. Because of the property's listed building status, the brief was to work with existing architecture, creating a balance between cosy and contemporary whilst being sympathetic to the eaves and angled walls of the original building.
Chris came up with a design that really made the most of the space, with a freestanding curved bath set at an angle, complemented by a standalone walk-in shower and white gloss basin vanity unit.
Added features such as the Inchyra Blue Farrow & Ball painted wall and armchair sitting casually in the corner, add to the lived-in and loved look.
