Lecico appoint new managing director and finance director

Antony Thompson and Bryan Ackers have recently joined Lecico Bathrooms. Anthony (right of picture) is managing director, while Bryan, pictured with him, is Finance Director. These appointments complement the appointment last year of Tony Barnes as commercial director.

Investment in these key positions confirms the ongoing commitment to the UK market in what will be an exciting year for the organisation.

Lecico manufactures and distributes a wide range of bathroom and ceramic products to the UK market, including the current Atlas range and the recently launched Designer Range of products. The business has operated since 1987 in the UK and benefits from large-scale manufacturing facilities that currently produce over five million pieces per annum.

Antony joins Lecico from Moores Furniture Group. "I am excited to have the opportunity to lead the Lecico business in the UK," he says. "We have a significant opportunity to grow through our current product offering with Atlas and the new Designer Range we have recently launched. In joining Lecico I have inherited a strong business and a highly motivated and capable management team at Bedford."

Bryan brings with him 15 years' experience in similar roles across a number of different sectors. "I am delighted to be joining Lecico during this period of growth, and look forward to working with the existing team to drive the business forward," he says.

The Lecico management team, led by Antony, will be focusing on developing new and existing markets and see a huge growth opportunity within the UK over the coming years.

Lecico is one of the world's largest manufacturers of bathroom suites and fittings. Now producing 5.2 million ceramic pieces per year and exporting to over 50 countries worldwide, the company has grown to be one of the largest volume suppliers of ceramic to the UK market.
