Miele's new CM 7550 bean-to-cup countertop coffee machine incorporates WiFi technology

Premium domestic appliance manufacturer, Miele, showcased at IFA a new model for its range of countertop coffee machines, the CM 7550 Coffee Machine.

Available from October, this attractive redesign of the existing CM 7500 is equipped with Miele's WiFiConn@ct technology, allowing the machine to be easily integrated into a smart home using an existing WLAN network.

Available in Obsidian Black and Brilliant White with a CleanSteel fascia, thanks to Miele's WiFiConn@ct this coffee machine can be connected to an existing smart home network opening up more options for convenience when used in conjunction with the Miele@mobile app.

When a supply of beans or descaling tablets are depleted, fresh orders can be placed directly from a smartphone, and users can also check their appliance remotely, to see the maintenance status and availability of software updates at any given time.

Easy to operate with a stylish CM touch display and user interface, the freestanding CM 7550 is equipped with Miele's intelligent AromaticSystem, producing a perfectly brewed espresso, coffee or ristretto with a wonderfully intense aroma every time.

Boasting a choice of 20 beverage options at the touch of a button including a variety of teas, this machine allows the programming of up to 10 individual user profiles to be made in line with personal preferences. Ideal for entertaining, the coffee and teapot function holds up to eight cups, whilst the OneTouch for Two function enables users to make two cups of fresh coffee at the same time.

What's more, the CupSensor recognises the height of the cup - be it a small espresso cup or tall latte macchiato glass - and positions the central spout accordingly at the ideal height to prevent splashes, ensuring the perfect coffee temperature and best possible crema.

Effortless descaling is also a bonus, with Miele's AutoDescale automatically dispensing a cleaning agent from a replaceable cartridge, helping to prevent limescale build up. Additionally, the ComfortClean system further facilitates cleaning as many parts of the coffee machine, including the water container and waste container, can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.
