BMA names new CEO

* BMA-CEO.jpgThe Bathroom Manufacturers Association has announced that Tom Reynolds will take on the role of CEO when Yvonne Orgill steps down at the end of 2019. Tom takes on the role of CEO designate from 7th May.

He is currently commercial & public affairs director at the British Ceramic Confederation, where he leads on trade and employment policy as well as political engagement.

Yvonne will remain with the BMA in a part time capacity and a non-executive role from January 2020. She has worked at the BMA for 33 years and held the position of CEO for the last 13.

"Tom has a track record of supporting and championing manufacturers and also brings extensive lobbying experience and a commitment to environmental issues to the role," she says. "I am confident that he will provide strong leadership for the Association as we enter the next exciting phase of growth.

"We will work together closely on a smooth transition to ensure that the BMA maintains its position as the voice of the industry."

Adds Tom: "I am delighted to be joining the BMA at such an interesting time. The bathroom sector is facing many uncertainties and challenges but there are huge opportunities to influence and support manufacturers. The BMA has a thriving membership and strong foundations, I hope to build on this, making the association even stronger."
