LDL introduces new brand partner

* LDL-Simonswerk.jpgLDL tells us it is delighted to announce a brand partnership with Simonswerk UK. An internationally renowned company, Simonswerk has been producing high quality hinge systems for over half a century.

As a member of the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers, the company is dedicated to achieving the very highest quality attainable. From the high copper content of its brass, to the specially developed technology incorporated into its hinges, Simonswerk is committed to the pursuit of perfection in its work.

Simonswerk hinges have long been a reliable staple of the LDL range. With a high load capacity, long service life and aesthetic appeal, they're the perfect connection between door and frame. Now, in recognition of their long-standing appeal and unwavering popularity, LDL is pledging its commitment to this highly regarded brand by making Simonswerk its latest brand partner.

The new partnership means that LDL is massively expanding the range and will now stock Simonswerk's entire selection of butt hinges, in every single style of finish and size. That's a possible 64 variations of hinge, each specially designed to hold a weight capacity of 160 kilos and guaranteed for 25 years of performance. From Rose Gold to Honeycomb, the company's new range of butt hinges boasts a finish to complement every style of interior.

"Good design is about getting the little things right," comments managing director Simon Ogden. "This brand partnership isn't about extending our range of butt hinges, it's about offering carpenters and kitchen fitters the country over the freedom to stand out with their designs. It's about Simonswerk's pioneering quality and how this array of new finishes and sizes can improve a design."
