Top tips for an organised kitchen

* Top-tips.jpgOrganisation and storage is one of the biggest stress points in the kitchen, from the largest open-plan spaces to the most compact, so good kitchen design will cater for this. With some clever design features space, comfort and aesthetics can all be maximised, while creating a highly practical kitchen.

Eggersmann's UK Director, Daniel Bowler, shares his top tips for creating an organised kitchen for your customers:

"Get them to opt for hidden storage to keep the kitchen clutter-free and streamlined. Hide built-in appliances and a wealth of shelves and storage racks neatly behind closed doors when not in use for a kitchen space that is as easy on the eye as it is easy to move around.

"Kitchen drawers can be kept organised with drawer inserts, so knives and forks will never get muddled up again."

"Use all the wall space available by creating integrated shelving at the end of a run of furniture. This is a great way for them to show off their finest glassware and add a sense of character to the space.

"Get them to opt for a built-in pantry-style wall unit, providing all the storage space even the keenest of chefs will ever need without taking up vast amounts of floor space. This can be personalised internally to suit their requirements, with a combination of drawers and shelving so that everything has its place.
