LochAnna proudly supports The Kitchen Station to provide new kitchens to armed forces

* LochAnna-proudly-supports.jpgLochAnna Kitchens has proudly supported Scottish kitchen specialist, The Kitchen Station, which has installed two fully integrated, contemporary Evo Driftwood kitchens to the 3 Scots regiment's service family accommodation in Inverness. The kitchens will be used to assist and support families of the Armed Forces community.

The kitchens have been fitted in the contact houses of members of 3 Scots which serve dependants, friends and family members from across the UK to visit loved ones at Fort George. The 3 Scots battle group is the 3rd Battalion of The Royal Regiment of Scotland and is comprised of soldiers who have been deployed overseas and are now in the final stages of training to become the lead element of the Very High Readiness task force. The soldiers in the force are highly skilled and equipped to deal with any UK military emergencies overseas.

The new kitchens will help to ensure that the relatives, children and partners of the soldiers of 3 Scots will have a welcoming, sustainable and enjoyable place to visit whilst seeing loved ones. The accommodation also acts as a more permanent place for families to stay while soldiers are deployed overseas or on commitments in the UK.

"For the team at The Kitchen Station to supply and install these kitchens completely free of charge is truly commendable and a fantastic demonstration of community spirit, we are delighted that they invited us to be part of this initiative," says Sinead Trainor, kitchen category manager for LochAnna Kitchens.

"By supplying these contact houses with fully kitted out kitchens, families can enjoy the pleasures of cooking and socialising in a kitchen that is well designed, modern and comfortable. We hope that it provides them with a home away from home."
