Yvonne Orgill joins BiKBBI

Yvonne-Orgill-BMA.jpgRespected industry leader and CEO of The Bathroom Manufactures Association Yvonne Orgill, has joined The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation as the latest member of their Advisory Board.

Yvonne, who departs her current role at the BMA later this year after a successful 13 years at the helm, joins the BiKBBI board, which is set to further develop the relationship between the two industry organisations.

Both the BiKBBI and BMA share values of raising standards, promoting educational opportunities and increasing compliance within the respective areas of the KBB industry and both fully support collaborative working strategies to benefit their members, the industry and those consumers who engage members.

BiKBBI CEO Damian Walters says: "I cannot even begin to express how happy I am with Yvonne's board appointment. A respected, highly experienced, much loved and proven industry leader, Yvonne, from the very beginning, has been a guiding light for BiKBBI. There aren't many people with experience of leading a successful trade association, so capturing Yvonne's experience is the footballing equivalent of a cup final 30 yard, top right screamer into the back of the net!

"Yvonne was one of the very first people I spoke to 15 years ago when we first scoped the prospect of an institute for Installation. Since then, our relationship has become stronger and stronger, primarily as both organisations share the same values."

Yvonne adds: "I am thrilled to have been approached to join the BIKBBI board and one I look forward to, I am a firm believer in strong partnerships that can come together with the same objective.

"BiKBBI and BMA have the same vision, 'compliant product installed correctly for the benefit of the consumer', a big ask that is not unachievable!"

Yvonne, who has vast experience in Europe and is set to lead development of The Unified Water Label, joins a growing board of advisors at BiKBBI, including Patron Stephen Metcalfe MP, former Jewson Director Jon Thelwell and PWC financial graduate Karen Stanley.
