Tin is trending with BC Designs
British bath maker, BC Designs, has gone back to its classical routes with the launch of its Tin Bateau. Made using 18th century techniques, giving it a raw beauty, the Tin Boat Bath has curving ends to support both the head and shoulders.
Easily adaptable to both traditional and contemporary spaces, the bath taps into the trend for metallics, which has been fully embraced within homeowners' bathrooms as they turn to more luxurious, colourful and interesting options.
Barrie Cutchie, Design Director at BC Designs, says: "Our new tin boat bath focuses on timeless, authentic design combined with heritage techniques. Made from tin, it is a popular alternative to copper and further strengthens our offering to retailers.
The bath is available in two sizes - 1500mm and 1700mm - either size makes a statement and is perfect for creating a luxury feel. If Tin doesn't quite fit in with the design, the bath is also available in four warm metallic finishes of Copper, Copper/Nickel, Nickel and Tin, with each one being full of character.
