KBBG launches NHS support initiative

* KBBG-NHS.jpgThe Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group, has launched an initiative called 'Support our NHS'. In appreciation for the amazing work and sacrifice made by the NHS throughout the current crisis, the 'Support our NHS' initiative encourages KBBG members to offer a special 'thank you' discount to NHS workers on any purchase of kitchens, appliances and bathroom products.

Bill Miller, Managing Director, KBBG explains: "We have asked our suppliers to support our initiative by giving our members an additional discount for any order placed, up until 31st December 2020, for an NHS worker. This will allow our members to offer the NHS worker a significant discount on their order."

Since proposing the 'Support our NHS' initiative to the KBBG's suppliers, the response has been tremendously positive. With a number of suppliers onboard already, the initiative is up and running with orders for NHS workers already placed. The KBBG is suggesting that members feature this offer on their website and social media platforms, to ensure NHS workers are made aware of the discount available, encouraging them to explore the opportunity with their local retailer.

Bill comments: "Whether our members are beginning to re-open their showrooms or are closed and strategically planning for the upcoming weeks and months, the KBBG is here to support them. Earlier this month we established a Five Point Business Support Plan to support members during this extraordinary time. Our latest initiative, 'Support our NHS', enables our members to express their gratitude to NHS workers.

"We understand that this initiative is asking a lot from our suppliers and members during this unprecedented time; however, we all want to show our support for those on the frontline fighting COVID-19. We hope that this gesture shows the KBB industry's appreciation for the incredible and continuing work by our NHS heroes."
