Pronorm maximises space to provide 10% more storage with new Proline128+ range

* Pronorm.jpgContemporary German kitchen furniture manufacturer Pronorm has introduced Proline128+, a new size of cabinetry that has been cleverly designed to offer 10% more internal storage without taking up any extra floor space.

To maximise functionality and help consumers optimise storage in their kitchen, Pronorm has increased the carcase height of its Proline128 base units from 768mm to 832mm (excluding the plinth) to create Proline128+.

Utilising the trend for slimmer, 20mm-thick worktops enabled the manufacturer to create the slightly taller cabinets without compromising the overall ergonomic working height of the units. This enables users to gain 10% more storage capacity for just an extra 14mm in height.

Particularly valuable in compact kitchens where floor space is often at a premium as well as open-plan designs where storage is key for creating a sleek and streamlined aesthetic, the new units are also ideal for taller users. To create a unique design tailored to each consumer's individual requirements, Proline128+ units can be mixed and matched with those from the existing Proline128, X-line and Y-line handleless furniture ranges.

Unveiled to customers at its HQ during the annual Hausmesse in September, the new, taller cabinets will also be rolled out across Pronorm's X-Line and Y-Line ranges early next year.
